What an awesome gem in La Pine! I can’t believe it took me so long to discover the food options and super cute courtyard here. We’ve gone there many times to buy their Badlands Rye Whiskey, which is top notch and we love to give it as a gift to say, “here’s something from our home town.”
This weekend my wife suggested we stop over there before heading up to East Lake, and we had a super delicious bagel and coffees from Badlands and also grabbed some of the best omelettes I’ve ever had at the Chubby Duck food truck at Badlands. Our kids ate them up quick, and that says A LOT.

Read moreI've had the privilege to patronize Badlands for the past year. It's an outstanding distillery offering award winning spirits with a wonderful atmosphere. McKenzie and Trevor, the owners, have poured their hearts and souls into this endeavor and it shows. Great spirits(winning awards just a couple of years in), great food(including a killer Mac & Cheese food truck), and great people. The back patio is a great place to enjoy a drink and listen to live music during the summer. South county has benefited greatly from their presence and I can't recommend them enough. Read moreSo disappointed with my experience this evening. I’ve eaten here several times but tonight was the last time I’ll be a patron. My Cesar salad was not eatable. I had 1 bite and returned it, asking instead to have a sandwich. The salad tasted like rancid fish oil. Instead of offering me good customer service, and comping me the sandwich in trade for the rancid salad, I was asked to pay for the sandwich.
