Ostioneria Colima — Restaurant in La Puente

This place was horrible when it comes to service, they were very rude when we were deciding what to order we asked that they bring out our kids' food first so that they don't get fussy it was 2 quesadillas and some fries and of course that was the last thing that came out after waiting an hour and a half. This place was loud, and the food was expensive and just meh and not that great it was full of drunks they had to kick a guy out who drank too much and was belligerent, there was a couple sitting across from us that were racking lines right off the table. It's supposed to be a family restaurant, but this place was very ghetto it's sandwiched between a place that sales paint and a muffler shop in a small shopping center so the parking sucks. I will not be returning to this place, 3 of us ordered (bacon wrapped shrimp) the same thing because we heard it was good and my other guests ordered tacos it took so long to come out after ordering it wasn't even that busy maybe just six tables and when it finally came out it wasn't very good and the salad that came with my meal had some nasty looking lettuce the diet coke I ordered came in a Mason jar and it tasted weird I asked if they could bring me another drink they said they would have to charge me yeah this place was a horrible...

We have been coming here since it opened its doors and for 16 years now and this has been the worst service ever. 45 minutes to get our food is ridiculous. It was a simple order of fish tacos which does not take 45 minute. Even the drinks took 20 minutes, we had to ask a person to bring it to us. Is the rating can be less than one it would be definitely less than 1 star, even if you call they never answer or you get hung up on. We have been loyal customers for over 25-30 year's and that obviously doesn't mean a thing to the Business owner, we may have to go back to the Original Ostioneria Colima on Gale and Hacienda in Hacienda...

The food was great, it never disappoints. It always has great flavor and good servings of it too. They even updated their children's menu options which helps with picky kids that don't like seafood. The service was the one that didn't help this score. They brought me a double order of something that we got. They were all over the place. They need to hire more employees to help out on the busy nights. Their restroom was out of order, I kept telling them to fix it and they ignored my claims, my 4 year old daughter really had to use the restroom. We ended up eating fast and leaving to go somewhere else to use...
