Run by a pair of irate, unreasonable misanthropes who communicate exclusively through wildly unprofessional histrionics, and prefer to repeatedly shout the same contextless policy snippets at increasing volumes, in lieu of providing actual customer service, or respectful communication.
But it’s the undisclosed, surprise cash deposit they extort from you, when you attempt to check in, with a fully paid and credit-card-backed reservation already on their books, that will really make you wish you hadn’t been tricked into assuming this was a normal motel with normal standards of cleanliness, service, and professionalism. Because, it isn’t.
Oh, and they don’t tell you this anywhere but on the signs in the physical office: they maintain a “you cannot have visitors in your room” policy. You might realize its unenforceable, and write the policy off as a possibly necessary lip service, but your optimism will only get you and your guest a midnight dressing down from the pair of busybody 30something manager newlyweds (at maximum-scream volume, mind you) for the whole complex to hear. These are the kind of amoral millennials who gladly line their pockets with these exorbitant, under-the-table, cash-only fees they shake you down for, with (clearly illegal) threats of retribution and these laughably nonsensical, completely undisclosed, “house rules.”
The Hacienda Inn, a quick jog north from this downtrodden roach motel, is a tad pricier but unquestionably a better value for your time and money. Stay here only as a last resort.

Read moreHoly moldy ! Bathroom and room has a spacious layout and notably updated decor and new bed sets but nothing can dress up the huge leak problem that is by the looks of it- a long standing issue. The ceiling slopes downwards towards the bathroom and actually sags complete with big pockets of water in ceiling and walls. Floor in bathro would not stop filling with water and visible mold is present in shower. The smell of mold and old washcloth type of must is nauseating while in room and despite putting fan on high and opening window I could not escape the smell or the moisture in the air. This is a serious risk not just to safety but to everyone's health. For over 100 a night this is ridiculous and absolutely foul business. The owner can not possibly not know or be aware of this as it is very obvious that it's damage done over a period of time and is currently progressing every day. I got my room in middle of night and would have asked to change if the owner hadn't immediately gone back to bed for night before I even opened my room door. Stay safe my friends and skip this...
Read moreStaying at this location was the worst decision one could make. I attended a family gathering in West Covina and decided to stay here to stay close to the freeway and party location. This hotel is basically a brothel. The AC does not work, the roof had at least ten water stains, the carpet was old and filthy, and the TV only had pornography movies. The attendee (an older Asian woman) threatened to kick me out without a refund because I asked why the pool (an amenity I chose the place for) didn't work. From 10-2 AM, the room next to us was filled with alcoholics who fought the entire night (I complained, again was threatened to be evacuated) and for a good part of the night, people passed by the hotel looking for drug dealers and prostitutes. Needless to say, I reported this location to the local city officials and will make all efforts necessary to dissuade anyone from...
