Hacienda Inn & Suites — Hotel in La Puente

Don't be fooled by all of the fake positive reviews. Judging from the exterior, this seemed like a quaint place to stay and the rates were reasonable. I learned quickly that this establishment is a haven for the lowest dregs of our society. It's obvious this is the spot for the drug users/dealers and other questionable and dangerous looking types. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE!! I can't emphasize this enough.||||This place doesn't even have a lobby. You have to check in outside and speak to someone behind dirty glass. That right there should have told me what kind of place this is & what kind of experience to expect to have.||||There was a musty foul odor to the room, there was hair all over the bed and the bathroom and carpet was soooo filthy. There were what looked like blood and urine stains on the sheets and mattress and the air conditioning vent was entirely caked and covered with layers upon layers of thick dust and who knows what else. It's summer and boiling hot, but I couldn't turn on the air because I didn't want to breathe in all the nasty particulates that would've blown out the minute I turned on the air. ||||I needed a motel for 2 nights, but left after the first night and checked into The Comfort Suites on Glendora, which was a most excellent experience with CLEAN & SANITARY accommodations. I had the worst experience while staying here, first they overpriced the rooms when they have no WiFi. I specifically asked for a room with WiFi and that was not given to me, when I asked the front desk woman to please assign a room that had WiFi she refused saying g there were no rooms available which was clear to me that was not true due to how empty their parking was. Front desk just blew me off and said there's nothing that they could do and that I would have to W A I T until the morning to speak to management.... what a joke after they took 90 dollar of my hard earned money they still refused to give me some kind of compensation for not providing me with the one tool I needed to work.
