We loved Yes Please so much that we came back two mornings in a row during our trip to Palm Desert.
It’s counter service and they have great signage explaining how everything works and where to find things to alleviate any guest frustration upon arrival. Brilliant!
They offer amazing coffee drinks using local, organic Joshua Tree coffee. We got vanilla lattes and the lavender milk latte. They also have several other house made cold beverages that sounded delightful (such as jasmine and Thai teas), beer, wine, mimosas, juices, kombucha, and bloody Mary’s. It’s not a full liquor license so the bloodies are made with Soju (just a heads up there).
But let’s get to the main course! Over the course of our two visits we tried the salmon eggs hollandaise, chicken and waffles, brioche French toast, and egg biscuit sandwich. Eggs were perfectly cooked, biscuit was a dream come true (flaky but not crumbly and buttered to perfection), and my date’s meals were phenomenal. I’m not a huge smoked salmon fan but I took a bite and loved it. Generous salmon portion too.
Service was amazing from the front counter to the folks who dropped off our meals. They were also quick to clear any dishes for us along the way. Extremely friendly and always courteous.
There is ample parking in free lots. We happened to time it just right both times but this place is popular so be prepared to wait in a short line (worth it, I promise!) and scout a table in advance if you’re planning to dine in.
The days we came there was an art street market and a farmers market with yoga in the park so check out the Old Town La Quinta offerings to make the most...
Read moreThis cafe has some very delicious and unique drinks that first caught my eye but it doesn’t end there. If you’re hungry for breakfast or lunch it’s a delicious yet quick option (sit-down dining with attentive servers, pickup, or delivery. I usually think of cafes as a great place to get a coffee. ‘Yes Please’ has excellent hot and cold food made to order.
You can definitely see and taste the love from the food and drinks at ‘Yes Please’
If you’re in the La Quinta area (old town) or 20 mins away, it’s worth the drive!
On my first visit I wasn’t aware the water, utensils etc. was self serve But a kind gentleman (thanks Romeo) was more than happy without questioning or saying a word immediately to brought our table: water, napkins, and utensils right when I asked. Everything else is full service and the water misters they have on the patio help a ton during the summer.
5 stars !🌟⭐️✨⭐️🌟I Will continue to be a regular here as the staff is extremely friendly, very helpful, and I could eat the breakfast sandwich or burrito every day!…I’d highly recommend this unique, & delicious...
Read moreLocated in Old La Quinta, YES PLEASE was an amazing post Day 1 of Coachella breakfast. I ordered their French Toast and Açaí Bowl, and my girlfriend ordered their Croissant Breakfast Sandwich. In summary, the food was delicious. The eggs on the sandwich were cooked perfectly, and the croissant itself was fluffy and very appealing before it was mercilessly devoured. Moving to the french toast, the caramelized brown sugar on top of the toasted bread was genius providing crème brûlée-like experience, providing a very satisfying crunch despite being absolutely smothered with syrup. As for the açaí bowl, the açaí smoothie base was thicker and SIGNIFICANTLY more flavorful than I’ve had throughout the state, I was a big fan. This has 100% made the list of desert faves for my...
