A Tale of Disappointment
I was on my travels throughout the land named Tennessee. I had felt the feeling of a late-night hunger, one of the chicken-based variety. I did my research and discovered a delightful sight, the classic restaurant of the poultry type, Kentucky Fried Chicken, was still open at this unsightly hour. I hastily placed my order, at the price of a measly $15. “A Steal!”, I shouted. I made my departure to said location even though it was plenty out of my way back to my homestead, my hunger had overtaken my sensibilities. I arrived at the establishment at around an hour before they would be closing for the night, according to their website. I pull into the parking lot and make an odd sight, even though the lights inside were on, there were no employees inside and no automobiles on the premises. I then checked my mobile device and discovered that the charge for the order had gone through and had been received by the company. I was shocked and deeply appalled. I then saw multiple other cars pull into the parking lot, and noticed other potential patrons making the same awful discovery. I then noticed one specific car pull directly in front of the entrance. I noticed a man in Kentucky Fried Chicken based apparel walk to the door and unlock it, I slight bit of optimism washed over me as I thought this man cook fix my dilemma. Much to my dismay I watched him leave the establishment within seconds, now equipped with two Caprisun pouches in hand. He entered his car and drove off into the night. I am sickened at the thought of this encounter. This business has distressed me to my core over this disgusting display of unprofessionalism. Now I have checked other reviews and have seen other similar assessments of this establishment. I hope they can one day improve on this behavior, and I hope it happens soon.

Read moreI came into KFC Wed.April 3,2019 8:10 PM. I was very tired from a long day. And was feeling a bit down. As I approached the counter I made my order with the young man Devon. He was very helpful and he knew how to do his job very well. And was very polite. The Buffet closed at 8pm. I had just missed the cut off time. Devon again doing as he was trained mentioned I could not get the Buffet because it was past 8pm. But without any hesitation Devon then said to me as he pointed out to the menu board, However you can get the 3 piece box with sides for the same price. I was happy about that and he definitely helped by explaining that so quickly. Honestly I was still a little disappointed that I had missed the cut off time for the Buffet, I suppose the Manager Whitney could tell I was still a bit disappointed. She came over and mentioned to me and to Devon if I wanted to do the Buffet she could let Devon do that for this time. Whitney made my night by allowing me to bend the rules a bit. The hospitality from everyone was Outstanding. I also want to Mention a very hard working sweet lady I met Mrs. Gicelia Gonzalez (momma) She kept the Buffet going just for me made sure I had a chance to get each item I wanted from the Buffet. I'm here to tell you , it doesn't get any better than this great group of intelligent, smart kind, polite, thoughtful team. Everyone worked together and made my experience at this KFC Location one I will not forget. Thank you to all the staff. I will be coming back soon...

Read moreI have to be honest. I am not a kfc fan at the best of times but this store epitomizes the service of today's society... first you pull up to the drive thru. No lights are on the menu board. That's OK. I already have the family's list of what they want. So the fact that the place looks closed is OK. After 3 minutes of sitting by the speaker... still no greeting... or at least the 'be right with you' that one expects... instead after 8 minutes of nothing I decide to call the store to make sure they are open.... the line of cars now behind me to the street where any minute I expect a wreck.... so ten minutes of nothing so I pull around to the window.... no one there despite an empty parking lot and 2 visible guys inside with headsets on.... so finally one of the 'kids' comes to the window and days I'll have to come inside because he can't take an order at the window. I explained they looked closed, no one says anything when you pull up and was responded to with a very negative attitude that made it my fault that they were too busy to greet properly and was told that unless I parked and came in to order so he could take the orders of the cars behind me that I was not able to order food. I said fine. Sat there for a minute. Called fortune express Chinese right down the road and ordered food for the family and left to pick it up. Far superior service and POLITE employees.... thank you kfc for reminding me why I don't bother with this store...
