Alright here we go this is going to be the most honest long review ever I'm a foody and I tells nothing but the truth so HELP ME GOD I'M UNDER OATH HERE WE GO yesterday 12-27-2024 came here after work good friendly service got seated within 30 secs got served chips and salsa immediately of course chips fresh salsa 5out of 10 to garlicy for me but it was ok ordered small cheese dip 10 out of 10 very thick and u can just taste the cheese I didn't get that milky no cheesy taste like other Mexican restaurants love the cheese then top shelf margarita omg very potten very good I was a little tipsy when I left ...20mins later I ordered ground beef taco salad omg I've been to a million mexican restaurants this taco salad was the best loaded with ground beef very fresh very good and don't worry guys the lettuce was there for some reason they obviously put the lettuce and tomatoes 1st before the meat but it tasted very good 9.5 out 10 and that's only because I was expecting the lettuce and tomatoes to be on top so anyway im a foody so I also ordered a order of shrimp I've had better I believe it was over cooked shrimp gets 5 out of 10 ...ok ladies restroom has an odor and I didn't like that fact that I literally had to put my hand dam near inside the automatic soap dispenser to get soap and had to grab the roll of paper towels that was sitting on TOP of a paper towel dispenser that I guess wasn't working to dry my hands Ok so anyway the taco salad the monster margarita brought me back next day so here I am next day 12-28-2024 it is approx 5:12pm same great service ordered another taco salad this time not so great to runny not loaded with meat like yesterday TOO MUCH LETTUCE I thought I had said no meat 😂 I mean the beef was there but not like yesterday cheese dip still good salsa was more spicy today and this time i got a PITCHER of top shelf margarita I'm almost done and not really tipsy 🤔ᴴᴹᴹ maybe a different cook and bar tender today but overall there's a 7out of 10 chance I may come back only because everyone is smiling and very friendly and EVERY WORKER looks happy to be here to serve us unlike other restaurants.. 5 stars for food atmosphere and service I do hope next time I come the taco salad and TOP SHELF MARGARITA will be as good as yesterday 👍👍 Oh and the bathrooms was better today still had a little odor and my significant other said the men's had a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE ODOR and this time I didn't have to fight for soap 🧼but 4 stars today out of all because I'm almost done with my top shelf PITCHER MARGARITA and not...

We went on karaoke night, Saturday. So the entertainment was interesting. I had the Enchiladas Poblanas, my wife had the Carne Asada, another in our party had the Enchiladas Verdes and another in our party had the Chicken Mole. Everyone, except my wife, was happy with their meals. The Carne Asada way WAY overcooked and tough. Also, it wasn't seasoned very well. It came home to the dog. The Mole was supposed to be "very spicy". It was not. I was told it had really good flavor but it was not spicy. It was all eaten. The Chicken Enchiladas Verdes were also said to be really good. The Verde sauce had a little heat to it, which was appreciated. My Enchiladas Poblana was very good. I had one chicken and 2 carne asada. The Poblana sauce had great flavor and was not spicy at all, unfortunately. The chicken and the carne asada were both very good in the enchiladas. We all had Margaritas and they were quite tasty. I am only giving this restaurant 2 stars because the customer service was decent. Otherwise, my food was terrible. I ordered a taco salad to go, with shredded chicken and no gauc. When I got home and saw my food, I was disgusted. First off, the taco salad looked like a bowl of cereal it was so watery. It was beef -not shredded chicken. The bowl had barely any beef (aka my missing pulled chicken) or fillings other than that watery substance; I am unsure if the liquid was from the lettuce or what. Let me also add I was not giving any cutlery or napkins. Thankfully I was home and not going somewhere to eat in my car. There is a Mexican restaurant every 10 ft in LaVergne. So, no need for me to return to this spot.
