Where do we start.... Now understand I was told when entering that this is their 3rd day of operations, I owned a resturant for 6 years in Seattle, so I understand it's not easy to operate. Our tab started at 6:05pm there were 7 guests including us two, 3 bartenders, 1 server and 3 back of house. The bartender (Jasmin) that was serving our table was barely audible, no nice greeting just asked us what we wanted. We ordered a margarita, a beer and an order of wings (someone forgot to put on the menu that the garlic wings are parmesan garlic). We could just make out that she literally said "is that it?" We felt there was an attitude though it was hard to hear her (there was no music playing and the TV's were muted ((one tv wasnt on))... we explained that we would like to look at the rest of the menu -we had arrived planning to have dinner there. The the beer and drink arrive after about 15min, the margarita arrived in a martini glass! So there was maybe 2.5oz of drink no ice!! We couldn't believe it, after about 20 minutes our wings arrive, understand it takes 9 minutes to deep fry wings. You can see into the kitchen there was only 1 other order. A nice server brought out the wings no one asked if my wife wanted another marga-tini or if I would like a refill of my beer, ya know to go with our food. We decided they were not ready for food service and decided to leave, which sucks cause I definitely wanted to try the Bacon Mac & Cheese and a couple other items. We asked for a bill that unfortunately took another 10+ minutes, Jasmin said it was because she messed up our check, no "thank you" or "how was your drinks and wings" from her. They charged us $15.75 for the marga-tini that was no more than 2.5oz (a shot is 1.5oz) What a rip off!! They need to work on their guest services and also serve a proper margarita thats not in martini glasses! They must think they are some high end establishment ($120 Tomahawk steak) in a pole building (wharehouse) with overpriced drinks, I don't know what location this establishment would survive, but definitely not...
Read moreTook my wife here for the stoned goose comedy show. We went early to get started on drinks and check the place out. Two pool tables and a few booths (not many) for people to chill and hangout. I ordered a washington apple and a gummy bear, along with a burger and fries. The cook seemed a lil stressed out, though didn’t appear to be super busy. Drinks were good, the bartender was super sweet. We went into the event center, and it was a pretty big room with a stage and a dj setup. My wife was happy they had a bathroom in there to use during the show. Finally got my burger and fries about 30ish minutes later. Burger was phenomenal (or maybe i was so hungry i was delusional at that point lmao), the fries were alright. Either frozen and not cooked long enough, or reheats going back into the fryer to use up. The bartender/waitress made her rounds during the first half of the show, my only complaint with that is she was wearing flip flops (not super safe for her). I made the mistake of waiting until after the show to pay my tab, and by the time we got out of the room and into the bar again it was packed! People were having a great time but it was hard to find the end of the line! We payed and made sure to tip them in cash. Overall, good time! I won’t comment on the show itself because i know it was a third party.
4 stars because i think safe work-wear is important. I get that the ladies want to look nice for themselves and customers, especially working at a place like this, but flip-flops are dangerous and inappropriate in a bar setting. She was walking around the bar, and the show. Might be a bit overkill but that’s how i feel.
Burger and fries took a while, but he was the only one back there. I made sure to tip him in...
Read moreOn Saturday night (Hiphop night) Nov. 16th After paying a 15$ cover fee you’d think they’d treat you like a paying customer when you return to the building after having a cigarette. The tall skinny black security guard was overly aggressive and treated us with low regard. After my friend and I stepped out two or three times to have a smoke, the third time we went back in the lady upfront that checks people in told us we can go on in. The security guard stopped us getting all intense shouting at us to take a step back and kept telling us to take a step back. I decided to leave because there was miscommunication between the staff. One assured us to go in and one yelling at us to stop. The lady at check in just had a blank look on her face and didn’t care to let the security guard know she told us we could go in. My friend did exactly what the security guy said, but the security guard decided he wanted to make an example out of him by attempting to man handle him forcing him out aggressively and threatened to call the police when there was no threat present. Security guard is young and frail and overly doing his job. He doesn’t know how to fully assess the situation and work with the lady checking people in. He comes off very insecure of his position there, and is quick to escalate the situation unnecessarily. Basically a frail guy with something to prove. Paying...
