Painting with a Twist — Attraction in Lacey

Oh wow this was super fun! Had trivia and fun games to break up painting - who knew Starbucks has been around longer than Star Wars????

I’m no Bob Ross - like not even in the same universe- but my painting looks “similar” to the original design but with my own happy little accidents . I’m super proud of my painting-.

our instructor was laid back, Patient and made the steps easy to understand and easy to follow. demonstration’s were amazing.

It was a girl’s night out so having a hard cider or wine was AWESOME. We had lots of laughs and made new friends ( a husband and wife also attend as it was her birthday and he planned the outing) we all were laughing and having a great time.

We got there a little early, which was great as we got to check out the paintings of classes they offer - so coming back to paint more - but the Black light paintings I’m sooooooo doing one of those.

Overall- highly recommend this to anyone ( even getting my husband to do a date night paint) super fun, they make you look and feel like an artist AND you don’t have to clean up your mess - ( got a bigger tip for that one) but if I’m honest - it was hard to walk away and not clean up my mess!

I had the pleasure of attending a Painting with a Twist daytime event, and it was such a refreshing and fun way to spend the afternoon! Even better, this event supported a local non-profit — part of the studio’s wonderful monthly initiative to give back to organizations making a difference in the community. The instructors were fantastic — patient, friendly, and great at breaking the process down into easy, manageable steps. Even if you’ve never picked up a paintbrush before, you’ll feel totally at ease. They also had beautiful painting suggestions that were perfect for the season, with just enough room for a personal twist. The atmosphere was light, social, and welcoming. With sunlight pouring in, upbeat music playing, and plenty of laughs shared across tables, it felt like the perfect mix of creativity and relaxation. We had a girls night out and had a blast! The painting was beautiful and the instruction was great! I have a couple reasons for only leaving 4 stars instead of 5. 1- We started about 20 minutes late after being told to arrive 15 minutes early. Supplies were still being dispersed after we were supposed to start. 2- There were not many options for non alcoholic drinks. They had Diet Coke, Coke, Sprite and diet Sprite. I’d like to see more options, maybe a sparkling cider? They also didn’t have all of their alcoholic drink options in stock. 3- The bar service was extremely slow and we didn’t get our drinks until about 5 minutes before the painting started. 4- We searched the website for a drink menu and could not find any info. Overall I would go back! I do understand that they just opened a couple weeks ago. I’m hoping it just...
