ETA: after posting my review the manager called me almost immediately. I updated my review based on his customer service. He explained in addition to training new staff, menu ingredients changed a few days ago but they kept the name the same. We order the same thing every time and I admittedly do not read the menu anymore, however I also didn’t notice any advertising for the change today in the drive thru. Make sure you read that menu! The great thing is you can still customize any bowl, so I’ll just have to make changes to the way I order next time. Thank you for the prompt response, Ryan - as a regular customer, I understand and appreciate your efforts to make it right!
We frequent this location and typically don’t have an issue with our order. The past two visits we’ve ordered and been given completely the wrong things - last time an entirely different bowl - and today half our sauce was missing in addition to the radishes, received white rice instead of brown and she added lettuce which I didn’t request..x2 bowls. Tried to call the location three times and no one ever answered, not worth the drive back but sooo...
Read moreMy first experience with this type of dining concept was in Boston. A chain called Boloco that lets you pick your favorite combination of meats, ingredients and sauces, then turns them into wraps, salads, or bowls. It's a great idea with a lot of versatility, and lets you enjoy flavors from almost anywhere; Greek, Mexican, Indian, Thai, etc. And I really liked it. which is why I was so excited to find something similar much closer to home. And to discover, by comparison, that MiSo kicks their butt.
MiSo's ingredients and flavors are are vibrant, fresh, and delicious. And of course, as a West Coaster, the menu has a better selection of the Asian influences I love. And the service is great, with a friendly staff ready eager and willing to walk you through your options. If I'm honest, I was a bit surprised to find MiSo in Lacey and not Seattle. And a little disappointed too. Because otherwise, I'd probably eat here most every day. But good on ya Lacy! And you go...
Read moreI’ve wanted to try this place out for a while. Ordered miso soup, Mochi, classic burrito, Dragon bowl and Gangnam salad.
Kid liked soup (neither one of us could eat the tofu), mochi, and the crab salad is fresh and tasty.
We did not like and won’t eat the dragon bowl (very bland & the chicken tastes burnt burnt 🥺). The burrito is all mine as I hear the green tortilla “tastes funny”. The soup didn’t taste fresh to me but it is nine-year-old approved.
I read the reviews thoroughly to help me decide what to order. The Best Burrito of My Life is not my experience (that I was SO hoping for... I’m due). Very disappointed in the dragon bowl with the burnt chicken. You know how teriyaki restaurants get that sear on the chicken? It’s like that but gone way too far. Then that taste is distributed on all sides of the chicken when it’s cut up. I tried, but you can’t eat around it or pick it out.
Our verdict, crab salad & the mochi win! That dragon bowl...
