Never have had a bad experience til today, so extremely confused on it. But placed an online order while still in ricelake since we didn’t want to go in anywhere as baby was sleeping, but saw was a 40 min wait after placing order and decided to go home and go back to pick food up. After arriving, even waited an extra 10 minutes before going inside to get food after was supposed to be done. Was told at first it wasn’t ready, perfectly fine. Waited another 10 minutes and asked again, was told again not yet.(mind you it was not busy). All in all ended up waiting another 40 minutes for my takeout all while watching them seat 10 tables worth and even giving some their food. I was ignored by all staff and finally after sternly stating I’d been waiting in here an extra 30 minutes, they magically appeared with my order. just to top it off after didn’t receive our cheese on either plates nor tortillas. Plus stale chips. Never one to complain because I understand off days but this was just unprofessional. Planned for fast at home dinner and was...
Read moreI will preface this by saying that their food is good. Their drinks are a little strong but if you like that it’s amazing.
However, the foods only good when they can get your order right. 7 times out of 10 they will get your order wrong in some way, even as far as bringing you a completely different dish than you ordered. Which would be okay if it wasn’t for the fact that if you try and point that out to them to get your correct food they will only tell you “No this is what you ordered” even if you try to explain what you actually ordered. Even as far as bringing meat dishes out when you ordered a vegetarian dish.
Also be prepared to maybe have to grab your own silverware and box, because they will sometimes not bring any of that out to you. Luckily they’re on an easily accessible table but it can still be frustrating. Also be prepared to either wait 30-45 minutes for the check after you’re done or just walk up to the front without it.
Overall good food when they get it correct, but kind of...

In a small town like Ladysmith, you don't have a ton of choices, so having a good restaurant is worth paying for. I know not everyone loves the building or the upkeep, but does it really change the food? No. It doesn't. The service was very good. Attentive staff and wonderful food. We had Golden Margheritas, and they were great. I had the Perillada, which has chicken, steak, pork, chorizo, and shrimp and veggies that you can eat on hot tortillas. My wife had the Fajitas Poblano, which came with the side of beans, cheese, rice, Pico de Gallo, lettuce, sour cream,...
