El Potrillo Mexican Restaurant & Grill — Restaurant in Lafayette

Im from out of town this was the second bad experience with a mexican restaurant while we have been here. Obviously, there are some racist attitudes with these people. My service was trash. I tries to get the waiters attention to order and additional item and I was waving for a good long while and he stood there and just looked straight at me both times I was trying to wave him over. He then turned around and walked back into the kitchen and turned his back. I had to then get up and walk up to the owner manager and he starts looking at me like Im trash. Like they know no english which he did. All I wanted was to order side of sour cream, guacamole and pico. He was treating me like I was trying to get free food. Blatant, racist behavior is out dated grow up and stop being stupid. Its 2024. I would not go to this place. My daughter orderes chicken nachos and they sent her a plate with an unusually large amount of chips with maybe 2 oz of shredded chicken which she had to dig to find. It was obvious the chips were to hid the lack of chicken. Then they wanted to play dumb when we raised the issue. They obviously have an issues with people of color. Dont waste your time or money at this place if you want to have a good time and not be insulted or get your blood boiling keep driving this place isnt worth you hard earned...

So, I come to this restaurant after reviewing other experiences. I decided to give this place a try because I love Mexican food. So the lady who I thought was the host walked in front of me without a word and just sat down still with out a word and never gave me her name.. sooo after a minute she ask me what I wanted to order .. still never have me her name or did a introduction at all.. I asked her a few questions regarding their lunch menu… my food was made very quickly and by the way I order a quesadilla.. why my quesadilla is wet on the inside of it drenched in the chicken grease/water. I didn’t not enjoy my food and also I didn’t know even want to order anything else because I was nervous. The manager walked around and went to all the tables expect mine. The service here suck literally.. home girl really messed up her. Tip… the only tip she can get it get better customer service. I wish I took a picture of the food but she took it...

Be content. Do you like knowing you have a resturant to dine at that employees Value and observe the community and what people are about ( going green - excersice- healthly ..? Portions and side dishes are available. About the cost . The comment reveiw for this resturant Take a deep breath .... That is a personal growth for you.

For the other comment about how managment sits , Focus sha- Pray more and understand Many managment do not live under opression .no meanness intended. Many words can be expressed about this ... However the focal is Servers know who they are and how to Keep moving and content with own and willing to learn more . Fyi--- Research what a reveiw is and Give information Everything eles is just emtions and Etc.. . About the seasonings Balance ..... Mija...
