The place has a great environment with lots of space to hang out with friends and kids. The smash burger is fantastic just as the beer selection. The main reason Iโm not giving 4-5 stars is due to the staff (busboys) they were rude to us and our kids. One of the kids was playing with a pretty beat down picnic-chair and instead of approaching and asking us to politely to stop, he just grabbed the chair from the kid (2 year old) aggressively and told us that it could break. We are extremely conscious about our kids breaking other peopleโs property and we wouldโve been very understanding if he wouldโve approached differently. Finally, another waitress rudely told us to move the picnic table away from the path, which again it is fair and understandable, we were just not happy with they ways and aggressive tone. It is a shame that a great experience gets ruined by lack of customer service. The bar tenders were fantastic, knowledgeable...
ย ย ย Read moreFirst thing I would say is, the beers are good, go there for a beer. The food service and quality was bad. I ordered my food just after 12:50 pm and for a good 20 minutes I saw other people getting their food. We went to ask about our order and they said the food should come out in 2-3 minutes. We waited another 20 minutes and asked about the food. I asked to check on my order cause it felt like an hour since I ordered, I miss was off by 20 minutes and told them, "Sorry I put my order in at 12:51 and haven't gotten anything." The server rudely said, "Has it been an hour or what!?" I pointed at my service ticket on his line of orders then they started making my food. The food was cold, bland, and dry. It was not worth the 40+ minute wait. I recommend getting a beer but do not eat here! 2 stars cause I liked the beer enough that I'll try their new place opening up in...

The whole space, beer garden design, woodwork, all super nice, you can see they spent $$$. Don't go for the food though, I had a hot dog and it was overpriced for what I got, nothing special about the beef sausage, the bun nor the fixings. There's a BBQ joint next door with OK food but definitely better than the hot dog.
The staff doesn't know the beer, and when you see wait staff wearing high heels, you know they haven't done this before. Also, the crowd is (shocker!) very suburban, it definitely makes you feel all the cool kids live in SF/Oakland (they do).
If you're in the area and looking for a place to hang out with good beer (and you like IPAs), this place should be at the top...
