Prior to my appointment with Luminance Vision Optometry, I had been a patient at another optometry group for the past 14 years. I had been contemplating a change for the last year because I felt my current optometrist was not investing in any new or current technology & I was ready for a change.

I was able to send a text to set up my appointment which I found extremely timely & efficient. Upon entering the tastefully designed office space, I was greeted by one of their friendly staff members. Due to Covid, I was screened and asked to take my temperature as well as wash my hands. I was led into a room with 3 high tech machines that scanned my eyes for eye diseases. After these tests were completed, I met Dr. Fleming who’s very personable and performed a detailed eye exam using traditional eye tests with updated and not old, clunky machines. She was extremely knowledgeable & kind and spent a fair amount of time reviewing my results and addressing my concerns. Dr. Fleming was very patient in explaining dry eye disease, computer eyestrain and glaucoma. I felt comfortable & understood what she was explaining. And I’m excited to learn she uses IPL to treat and prevent dry eyes.

When it was time to pick out my new frames, the optician selected the perfect pair of glasses that worked best for my face. There were so many great choices. I’m looking forward to my computer glasses with blue light filter and my stylish sunglasses.

Dr. Fleming is amazing—knowledgeable, proactive, thorough, and caring. She makes me feel confident and cared for with my many questions and with all of the latest eye tests and imaging they do and provide.

Star is truly the best; she understands my style, and I highly value and trust her opinions and taste. She has assisted me with all my frames, even tracking down discontinued colors and handling super-specific (hopefully not annoying💛) requests.

I am picky about my frames—not only are glasses important medical devices to me, where quality and comfort are #1, but they are also fashion and a form of self-expression. I enjoy exploring and keeping up with new emerging eyewear designers and small handcrafted brands and at Luminance, they curate and carry so many beautiful and unique glasses and some of my favorite brands.

I had the pleasure of visiting Luminance Vision Optometry for both an eye exam and dry eye treatment, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the care I received. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience very comfortable. Dr. Fleming took the time to explain everything thoroughly, from my eye exam results to the best treatment options for my dry eye condition.

I’ve struggled with dry eyes for years and had seen several specialists without much improvement. Dr. Fleming took a personalized approach and suggested a combination of treatments that have already made a noticeable difference. They were also very transparent about the costs, which I really appreciated.

The office itself is modern and well-equipped, and I never felt rushed during my appointment.
