If I could say one thing is that the food is good. The staff and cooks have much to be desired. The staff is ok. The cooks/chefs donāt know how to get ur order right. š«£š Yeah u heard me right. So hereās the story we get up to the register, yes weā I went with some family members of mine. We order. My mother and I ordered. She ordered a turkey sandwich the half with chips. I ordered the turkey sandwich whole no provolone with chips. My father ordered the BLT sandwich. We were not informed where to get fountain drinks or if someone were going to give us our fountain drinks or what. So we find a table and sit and waitā¦ā¦ 20 minutes later. A lady arrives with my mother and iās drinks. (I got a strawberry hibiscus and my mother got some pineapple drink) my father is still waiting on his fountain drink. The lady finally says ohh thereās glasses u can get and the coke fountains are over there. My dad says ok. As heās trying to find a clean glass for his fountain drink, my mother and iās food arrives completely wrong.š when I say wrong, I mean not even close! So another ten minutes rolls on by, we finally get our right order. My father didnāt enjoy the aioli spread his BLT had on his sandwich. He said and I quote āsomething on this sandwich is choking meā as he coughs while eating his sandwich. Not a very pleasant sandwich if u ask me. My mother said hers was fine. I actually quite enjoyed mine. But will I ever bring friends or family here again, thatās a FAT NO! The employees seem quite oblivious to the customers needs or questions. And the chefs canāt even get a simple sandwich order correct. Also just to add an employee was sitting with a man who looked absolutely homeless, I donāt know if that was her father or a relative but she was talking and gossip so loud that everyone could here. I guess she wants people to know her business. š¤·š¼āāļø The atmosphere was quite different and customers just seemed annoyed and standoffish. It wasnāt the worst restaurant experience, and it certainly wasnāt the best experience either. In conclusion, I will not be returning to la madeleineās anytime soon unless they get new management and stop hiring...

I was with a very small, intimate bridal party gathering and we each ordered separately. It was quite a while that I had waited for my food before I went to the counter to make sure nothing had gone wrong with my order. One of the servers apologized and told me she would look into my order right away. I went back to sit down, and the manager came out shortly after to deliver my food, apologized that my food was delivered to the wrong table, and gave me a full refund for my entree plus a coupon for a free entree next time I came to their restaurant. I want to really commend the manager and La Madelineās for going above and beyond to fix this mistake. I almost never, nowadays, find any restaurants doing either of these acts in order to fix a service mistake. I wanted to write this review to show my appreciation for their efforts and service recovery. The food and atmosphere is of course always very good at this...

I enjoy their crème brûlée and sometimes go for a latte and a treat but mostly to enjoy a nice time in a cozy atmosphere with my friends. I will never understand the hype behind this place, as a French, I can say that their food is really not worthy. My experience last Sunday was disappointing. The cashier repeatedly yawned while I was ordering ( more than 5 times!)
I ordered a pain au chocolat, crème brûlée, and a latte. The cashier initially picked an empty aluminum ramekin for the crème brûlée, which should not have been in the display. His colleague then took a filled ramekin but almost handed it to me without a plate, which seemed unprofessional. Despite mentioning that I expect better service, they seemed very indifferent.
Additionally, I was told that food from the counter is served immediately there, fine, but there are still respectful and professional ways to handle it. Also, their cappuccino is the worst I have...
