Whataburger — Restaurant in Lafayette

I've been thinking a lot as of recent, about a theme for some of place that attract me to go into to review. Here's the theme for this company. For Whataburger each and every location has old Glory flying high and on each location it states family owned since 1950. This is one of few companies that American owned and a American operated. You see I believe in America and I believe in the made in America emblem. Now does mean that I show favoritism, no what it does means is I give each and every company the same chances as do everyone. So let's talk about why I have decided to review another whataburger . I really did not plan it. This one has drawn me because of what I saw and heard and witnessed. There are a group of men tonight that have shown me more customer service than most of the business . Those where most of the employees have been for years. Shawn was.the first employee I came in contact with his menu knowledge was absolutely shocking. Then Kyle here is a story of young who turned 28 yrs.old last Wednesday and by the way who has only been working here for for about a week. He does a great job along with the other tem members. Then you guys would not believe this but I have found a man who started this as his 1 st job and really the only job he has ever had. This gentleman leads as a 3 Rd shift mgr. By example. You my followers know that lead by example will win my attention every time. Well his name is Jonathan. I know your saying Tracy it's easy on this shift BC they are not busy. Excuse me these guys have been busting there behind. So yes Jonathan is a great manager.The restaurant is very clean. The attitude of all employees are just like Jonathan's to make each and every guest "TO FEEL THAT THEY ARE AT HOME BY NOT HAVING TO GET UP.FOR ANYTHING". Thank you guys your team can't be beat. This Restaurant Is Amazing 🤩 When You Walk In And Make A Simple Order Of Fries 🍟 And The Manager’s Response Was “I Should Have Known” This Is The Go To Restaurant In Lafayette. Or Like The Time When I Ordered Just A Burger 🍔 And The Idiot Manager’s Response Was And I Quote “No Fries”. I Was In AAW. And Then The Manager’s Stupid Excuse Of A Response Was “I Was Just Trying To Guess What You Wanted”. And All These Times I’d Go To This Restaurant And I Always Thought The Restaurant Protocol Was “Can I Help You”,”Would Like Like Fries Or Onion Rings With Your Order” Or “Would You Like A Burger With Your Order Of Fries”. NEVER In My Mind Would I Would Have Ever Thought That I Would Have Encountered The Most RUDEST And DUMBEST Manager In The Fast Food Biz. This Individual Brings The Ugliness In The Fast Food Business To A NEW LOW. In Fact, This Particular Person Who Was So Rude To Me At This Particular Whataburger Restaurant Now Avoids Me When I Walk In The Building. He’s NOT EVEN Man ENOUGH To APOLOGIZE To Me For His STUPIDITY. What A Clown 🤡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right Now, I Still Go To This Restaurant Because These Incidents Only Recently Happened. The Last Time I Went In The Jerk Wasn’t There. If This Person Doesn’t Man Up And APOLOGIZE To Me For His STUPIDITY. I’ll NEVER Go In That Whataburger Restaurant EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus Counting The Fact That The Whataburger Corporate Office Would Be SURPRISED To FIND OUT How Many People I Know That I Would Tell And Talk To,To Tell People Don’t And Not To Go To This Particular Whataburger Restaurant DUE To The RUDENESS Of...

We are Native Texans and absolutely love our Whataburgers. This location (and I would hope it was just a bad day) is a POOR representation of a true Whataburger. My hamburger was slightly above room temperature and definitely precooked and laid around until I ordered it. The kicker is my special order burger was made incorrectly and the second burger was just as bad as the first. BUT WAIT, there is more. The second burger was made WRONG! They where very friendly and quickly add a second patty to the second burger (made it a double). You guessed it, yet another precooked room temperature patty. It was not warm enough to melt the cheese. Enough about the hamburger, the fries were just as bad. I dislike being so negative, so the best part of the trip to Whataburger was I got to spend it with my loving wife and for that, I thank you.

I truly wish these managers and owners would understand, as a consumer, we do not mind waiting for fresh, hot food. The sad part is we will never return to this location to find out if they take this heartfelt suggestion and implemented it.
