China Kitchen — Restaurant in LaGrange

Nice and clean location, friendly staff, easy to order online. The food has great flavor. It's just....my food never tastes like what I ordered and mostly isnt what that order consistsof. Everything is just...orange chicken. General tsos- just order the orange chicken. Sezchuan beef....orange chicken sauce with a hint of garlic. No red chilis in sight at this place. I wish they, and many other Chinese restaurants, would only offer the dishes they can make. I'll keep giving them a try every few months but not really a fan of orange sauce. If you love orange chicken- This is your spot!

We've been going there for many years and ordering takeout. The food is as good as you'll find in any moderately priced restaurant. Beef is good quality and tender, the shrimp in the higher priced menu items are large enough to have to cut them in half to eat. I always order the snowpea pods with extra ginger (fantastic). The lunch specials are great tasting and the dishes are packed full!! Value for your dollar. Would give them a five star rating if they offered sushi for takeout. I have ordered here twice. Both times the staff was very freindly. The food is always on point. I actually pass other take out places in the area and travel a bit further for this place. I've tried a wide range of dishes from just fried rice , lo mein to general tsos and pepper steak and all of it has a great soulful flavor. They put some love into this food rather than others in the area that seemed like you could get the same thing from a frozen section at Walmart. For my second visit I'm highly looking forward...
