Iām soo disappointed with this spot. Iāve been wanting to come try it for so long because I love the branding - I drove 25 min to finally try. The 2 stars is solely for the banana latte. Heaven on earth if you love bananas. Vibe though - awful. Total opposite of what I expected. I walked in and nobody even acknowledged me. There was two girls sitting at a table on the right, it seemed like they may be part of management as they had paperwork they were working on talking together, and there was two people behind the counter. Those two at the counter maybe have been busy though and maybe didnāt see me? Iām baffled though that in such a tiny space employees (especially management ?) would not greet a CUSTOMER standing right there who front staff didnāt see - and so close to you that its awkward NOT TO! Maybe a āHi weāll be right with youā SOMETHING?!?! Not pretend Iām invisible? I was immediately thrown off by this but ordered my stuff. The guy who took my order was at least reasonably nice. Alongside my coffee I got the OG OC. It was mid nothing special. As I was waiting I just couldnāt get past the stiff bad vibe. I said thank you to the girl who handed me my coffee and she just said nothing with an expression like sheās miserable. Again just terrible vibes that made me just wanna get out of there. Yāall have a sign outside referencing Starbucks but at least when I go there Iām greeted and thereās a warm vibe. Customer service matters. These employees did not match the upbeat cute brand of this place at all and it was just a bummer. Good...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreReally terrible experience. The barista (named Maria) ringing us up & making our drinks had the BIGGEST attitude. I had brought my foreign uncle (who does not speak English) in for some coffee, everything was fine until we were done ordering our drinks. I stepped outside to take a phone call, as soon as I came back in Maria was yelling to my uncle who has broken English. All he was asking was for some extra cream (she also forget to add my vanilla cold foam to my drink)ā¦I had told her sheās not from this country, thereās no need to raise her voice-all he wants is some extra cream. She presumes to yell at me, āWell maybe instead of standing there, you can be the translator and speak for him.ā I replied, āIsnāt that what Iām doing?ā I then tell her my coffee is missing the vanilla cold foam (which I paid the extra dollar for), Maria said āYou werenāt charged for that, I wonāt top your coffee off.ā Her colleague says let it go, just give them their coffee. Maria goes, āNo, she didnāt pay for the cold foam. She needs to pay.ā Which is ridiculous because I was chargedā¦I didnāt want to continue arguing with her because obviously she doesnāt have great emotional regulation, nor has the proper skills to be dealing with people in social environments. Iām very disappointed in my visit, my uncle also wasnāt pleased. We will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is party girl utopia. You know who she is. Sheās that girl with the dyed blonde hair, with the raspy party voice, who will drink any of the dudes under the table, dance on the bar, first to the afters party and last to sleep. We all went to to college with her and if she had a coffee shop, she would start her morning here.
The coffee was great, didnāt have any food, but itās in a super awkward spot. Not the best weekend vibe but imagine if anyone goes into the office still, this place thrives. If youāre in the neighborhood itās...
