Baja Fish Tacos — Restaurant in Laguna Niguel

It’s the rice!!! Recommendation: EAT HERE I honestly don’t know how many times we’ve been here. We’ve been back sooo many times. Always with friends. We always see friends there too. Super popular.

We feel it’s a good value for the good / experience.

I usually get the two taco meal. $12 Their rice and beans are awesome. I usually feel too full after eating the whole plate.

The rice is Sooo good. They must make it with a ton of butter or tallow. Super flavorful.

Last few times I’ve got their Baja bowl, extra chicken. Very happy with it.

We always get their chips and salsa. I am A fan! Chios are consistently good. They don’t really have a chip dipping salsa. You just have to dig into their pico.

It can be a little struggle to find a seat, but wait a few minutes and you’ll find one. Lots of families eat there.

Service is good. But they do get really busy. We’ve often been when the wait is out the door. The line goes pretty fast. Not a bad idea to call your order in.

Best fish tacos I've had in the inland empire. Place is always crowded but the get your order quickly and your food out fast. They have 3 ways to order your fish taco, blackened and ensenada style are my favorite. Definitely the best white rice ever. So much flavor! Lots of toppings and salsa to choose from in their help yourself condiments bar. Having their pico de gallo is a must. I eat that stuff with a fork! So good. They do offer other Mexican food if you're not into fish. Enchiladas, tacos carne asada and such. You choose the type of beans that you want both are incredibly good I usually go with the black beans with my fish tacos but the pinto beans are amazing too. The presentation of the food looks extremely nice too I wish I took a picture. They waste no time in cleaning up your table the second you're out the door for more people to sit down. Delicious!! But...

So I've been twice now, the first time I went we walked in no greeting (which is fine) then I come up to order and there are a few employees just standing there and still no greeting, we're looking at the menu and deciding and still its like we're invisible or something (almost empty and not busy) so we are vegan and we were trying to see if we could substitute the cheese for other veggies and she was not accomodating at all! Anyway that's fine, it was absolutely delicious we added some fixins from the salsa bar! So I thought it's my first time it's not likely that it will happen again... My second time around the same thing happened!! Unaccomodating, unpersonable, and just not hospitable! (mostly just the cashier because all the other employees were awesome) I just don't understand how the service is so poor but no worries the food makes up for it, I'll definitely be back but it just...
