River Roost — Restaurant in Lake Buena Vista

I love this place! The food is great! I love to have the wings and loaded potato puffs! The chocolate martinis are so addictive! I also love the habanero margaritas! I like to go on the nights when they have Yehaa bob on which is usually Wednesday to Saturday. He is an excellent musician and a wonderful entertainer! He plays anything right from kids songs like bingo up to rock classics like living on a prayer. He also does classical Pieces with a twist such as the Sabre dance and the flight of the bumblebee with a boogie Woogie beat! He of course also does lots of Disney numbers too! Audience participation is highly encouraged! Bob is such a gentleman to talk to! Saying that, the rest of the staff are really nice and friendly too! One thing that’s worth remembering if you’re thinking of ordering food, the kitchen closes at 11 PM. Also get there early on the nights that yehaa Bob is on as it can get packed! One of the best entertainment values for theentire family. The River Roost is the New Orleans themed bar inside Port Orleans Riverside resort. There is an amazing entertainer there, Yeeha Bob, that performs on certain nights. Bob is a very unique showman who plays piano, sings, carries on with all kinds of shenanigans, and engages his audience in participation in a masterful way. It is good clean and so much fun for all ages. There is no charge for his shows. However, since River Roost is a bar, customers can buy drinks and bar snacks, but there is no pressure if they choose to buy nothing. We did partake in drinks and loved the lineup of Albita draught beers. The Turbo Dog Brown Ale was amazing. Yeeha Bob's show was so good, we want to see him again. My rating is for the experience of seeing Yehaa Bob at the River Roost, not for the venue itself. The River Roost itself is a serviceable establishment with mediocre food, so we ended up bringing food from the quick service down the hall into the restaurant while we watched Yehaa Bob perform.

And Yehaa Bob is THE reason to visit the River Roost. In fact, his show is enough reason to leave your other resort for an evening of entertainment at Port Orleans Riverside - it's that good!
