If you try to order anything with a food allergy they send you to a specific station. This station though is not staffed by anyone in particular, someone else has to notify a chef to report to that station to take & make the order. This is great in theory, if there is an available chef. The people in front of us waited almost 30 minutes for the chef to show up. Chef did a great job, took their order and within 5 minutes, food was given to them. Chef then dissappears as quickly as he showed up with no regard to the several others in the food allergy line. We tell someone else behind the counter we have an allergen order, she then calls the chef again. Another 20 minutes go by and no chef, and no further acknowledgement at all. Meanwhile food is flowing normally for regular orders all around us. Finally we just decided to use the app and place an order, which oddly enough, allows you to order allergen items that no other employee will take. The problem now is, you have to wait 45 + minutes to get a pickup slot on the app for them to make the app order. So, yes, it's quick service if you don't have an allergen, if you have allergen, you are better off Ubering somewhere off property for your meal, it'll probably be cheaper, faster and...
Read moreIt’s crazy how just a few years between visits what can happen to a place.
We used to come here and looking forward to the pasta. They used to allow you to choose the type of pasta, then the sauce, and a protein. Then they would actually make these items right in front of you.
So fresh and so good. It had to be the best “food court” meal I’ve ever had.
Fast forward to 2025 and now you get penne and two causes to choose from. All the items are in a buffet type pan heated by steamed water. Everything was sitting around for who knows how long. When they opened the cover to the chicken and they were just sitting in a pan with the cheese already melted but hard, we knew we were in for a terrible experience.
Couple that with a 15 minute long line to pay because they only had 2 of the 8 lines open our food was not only old, but cold.
Disney has failed on so many ways and seeing something like this happen to a place we have always enjoyed for years is so sad to see.
There was no manager to speak to. The place is run on autopilot, and very poorly at that. We made it a point not to eat there the rest...
Read moreOverall, the food options were pretty great for this food court. One of the members in my party was disappointed the normal breakfast option of oatmeal was gone as that's one of the few breakfast items they can eat.
The food was okay - nothing ground breaking and amazing but nothing awful either. I had the jambalaya at one point and was disappointed at how bland it was. The sausage had some spice and flavor but that was about it. Also had the plant-based "tuna" sandwich, purely out of curiosity. It was pretty good. Didn't taste like tuna really, which I'm not surprised by, but was still tasty with all the toppings you get with it.
The best thing I had at this food court was definitely the 50th anniversary dessert (raspberry cheesecake with a rose gold champagne-infused glaze on an almond cookie. I had to get this twice because it was so tasty. The cheesecake was almost like a mousse.
The chairs aren't the most comfortable but they're fine. They squeak awfully on the floor when you move though. The atmosphere was pretty great and the water wheel was...
