Scat Cat’s Club is one of those hidden Disney gems that hits all the right notes—live jazz, strong drinks, and the best beignets on property, all wrapped in that New Orleans soul.

The lounge side is intimate and cozy with limited seating, so it always feels relaxed but lively. The live jazz (when scheduled) brings real heart to the space—think Pixar’s Soul level of vibe. It’s the kind of music that makes you want to slow down, sip something strong, and soak it all in.

Speaking of sipping: the cocktails here are legit. Classic Louisiana drinks like Hurricanes, Sazeracs, and spiked coffees fit the mood perfectly. Whether you’re winding down after the parks or just escaping for a quiet night, this is the spot to be.

Right next door at the attached café, you’ll find the legendary Mickey-shaped beignets—hot, fluffy, and absolutely covered in powdered sugar. The 3-pack or 6-pack comes with salted caramel and chocolate sauces, and yes, they are messy. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the boozy beignets filled with liqueur for a fun adults-only twist.

There’s some lobby seating if the lounge is full, and you can always mobile order the beignets to go—perfect for a riverside stroll or poolside snack.

Whether you come for the music, the drinks, the desserts—or just that Crescent City vibe—Scat Cat’s Club is a sweet and soulful escape at Walt Disney World. An absolute must if you’re staying at Port Orleans… and worth a special trip even...

This place is amazing the trio band is what makes it and it can be standing room only on a Saturday night. It is definitely an adult Escape in a world made for kids. I would definitely try the Baton Rouge beignets. The normal Beignets are fabulous as well but if you want a little extra kick the Baton Rouge Beignets will do it for you. You will find several local employees for both Universal and Disney hanging out at this place. Or their friends and family will be there. It's definitely a laid-back atmosphere and some place to go and listen to some amazing Jazz that is put on by an ensemble of a group of different musicians that are rotated out on a regular basis. It would be better with a four-piece to show off all the different Talent that's in the Orlando area but I'll take a three-piece. If you like music and you like jazz this is the place to be at this time. If you'd like to do something fun and you're not staying on the Disney properties park at Disney Springs walk around to the West End where you can catch the boats to the Disney Resorts up the sassagoula river. It's a fun little ride on the boat that's free and takes you straight up to the resort which is beautiful, and you can see the horse carriage rides going by and the beautiful way that the hotel looks from the river. And again it's a free boat ride. They have signature cocktails that they do and they are fabulous. The scat Kat Club is by far a getaway for adults when the kids have driven them...

5 stars! Just for the Mickey beignets!

Actually, this place is pretty alright! You can get several kinds of beignets. The regular, Mickey Head shaped ones, a seasonal kind, and ones that are injected with some kinda liquor, like Kahlua or Baileys. Unfortunately, those aren't shaped like Mickey's head, which as we all know makes them taste better... they're still good though. The seasonal kind we saw during our stay was a Banana Foster variant. We didn't get a chance to try them though.

Of course, the beignets are amazing. They're fluffy and a bit crispy, and not too sweet. Also crazy hot because they're made to order. Don't burn the roof of your mouth! I know we all secretly want to eat Mickey, but please be careful and take your time!

They also got coffee here. Unfortunately, it's all Joffrey's. I'm not a big fan of this coffee, and it's all over the resort. That's not their fault though. I suppose it's not the worst thing in the world. Who needs good coffee when the beignets are this...
