McDonald's — Restaurant in Lake Charles

I love going to this restaurant late at night after my swing shift to get dinner. Usually I get two triple cheese burgers and a mcflurry. Pretty good stuff...

I tried to go today though and didn't realize they were undergoing maintenance and their entire lobby was closed down. So, as usual I tried to go through the drive through. After waiting a little while though, I was summarily declined service and asked to move out of line to make way for the next customer.

It was explained to me that bicycles were not allowed in the Drive-Thru, however I mentioned that the lobby was closed and there was no other way to place an order for someone not in a vehicle. I asked the general manager who was present at the time, so he was less of a manager and more of a bookie. That's besides the point, but regardless I asked him anyway if you would make an exception since I have ridden my bike all the way down to his McDonald's just for lunch. He declined and said that this was standard policy and that he would not make an exception.

I drove down the road another quarter of a block and have now purchased two Whopper Juniors from Burger King. I think I'll be buying lunch...

I just went through, the only thing I ordered was a cheese burger with ketchup happy meal. I specifically asked for cheese and ketchup only. The person taking the order said they couldn’t find the cheese button and for some reason listed no ketchup on the receipt after I repeated my order several times. I get the burger and it has mustard, onions, and pickles (literally everything except what I ordered). I go through the drive through a second time to ask them to please remake my order, and the nice gentleman said they’d do it right away. The next happy meal I got had the bottom completely soaked in water and this time they gave me chicken nuggets. I left because I didn’t want to go through a third time just for them to somehow find a way to mess it up again. The staff here is absolutely incompetent. They really just ruined fast food for me, I’m probably not going to go to this store or any other McDonald’s again at the risk of dealing with people this bad at following simple instructions again. Edit: I forgot to mention that the fries in the second happy meal I got were cold and soaked in water. They must have set the box down near the drink...

Every time I order online for pick up in advance, I always have to pull up & wait an additional 5-10 minutes for order. They act like they can't even get your order right. I ordered a big Mac with extra sauce and cheese. I received a plain cheese burger on top of another bun with only sauce and cheese. No lettuce and not made correctly with middle bun. Gave it back for correction and they threw lettuce on it and gave it back instead of making it properly correct. The 3rd time correction had cold cheese and little sauce. Why are they employed there if they don't like their job. Do better or go out of business. Not going to Prien Lake anymore. Too ghetto and Management are always young and never corrects the problem. The most upsetting part that these workers don't understand is that I ha e young children to feed. No one wants to feed their children SLOP!!! That's what piss me off the most when I receive horrible fast food service. Fix food like your filing it for yourself unless you eat slop too. The customers don't want slot. We want McDonald's!!!
