I wanted to do something new today so I decided to try the brunch at the Panorama Music House. I've heard they have a great grilled cheese sandwich (I'm on a grilled cheese kick at the moment) but it wasn't available for brunch.
After looking at the menu, the Birria Huevos Rancheros seemed interesting. And it was! The meal came with shredded beef and a house spicy sauce that wasn't overwhelming. 2 over easy eggs sat on the side of the tortilla. I discovered a nice surprise with the tortilla being crispy instead of traditional soft.
For the side, I had to test out their grits! Very creamy and not your average plain serving.
The iced tea was also enjoyable with a rich flavor that was not bitter.
Fast friendly staff enhanced the experience!

I finally had the chance to enjoy the roast beef grilled cheese sandwich at The Panorama Music House!!
As the meal was brought out it looked to be a good choice and of course the cheese blend was on thick Texas toast! But wait, this isn't your normal grilled cheese sandwich. This anomaly came with a more than generous portion of roast beef! Grilled white onions and a smooth brown gravy for dipping. The combination was very appetizing!
The sweet potato fries were lightly salt and peppered which balanced well with the sweetness of the side.
Needless to say that the iced tea, atmosphere and service were exceptional as usual!

Read moreThis place has a great atmosphere - it's a great place to listen to live music (lots of space, good acoustics). The service is pretty good, though when we went, it was busy and it seemed like they only had 2 servers, so things sometimes took a little while. The food though? It was pretty bad. We got nachos and instead of regular chips, it was like deep fried pita bread. They were really skimpy with the cheese too. They were out of pork :( so we went with the birria, which was tasty, but it was not very hot. I got the Carlos Santana burger which was just kinda meh. From the description, it sounded amazing, but it wasn't spicy or cheesy.. It was kind of bland. The side of beans I got with it were the best thing I ate there. My fiancé got a pizza and it was cooked terribly. The bottom was black and the top had undercooked cheese, like their oven was set too high or something. He said it didn't taste very good and I didn't want to taste it so I just took his word for it. He got beer that came with a lot of head on it, but the shots we got were pretty good. We'll definitely return for more live music if a good band is playing, but I'm not so sure I'll...
Read moreHonestly, the only reason I give this place 2 stars is because the atmosphere is nice. My friends & I decided to eat here Friday night. None of us had gone to the establishment before it was destroyed by hurricane laura.
Perhaps food was not something it was known for. I ordered the grilled chicken breast with sweet potato fries, & broccoli. I wish I would have thought to take a picture. Everything looked & tasted like it came out of a bag in a freezer. Especially the chicken. It looked & had the texture of Tyson frozen chicken breast. There is NO WAY it was freshly cook. My friend got the gyro, there was hardly any meat or veggies on it. It was sad to look at. And my other friends got the birria tacos, another sad sight with poor flavor.
The business is hurting themselves by offering food just for the sake of having food. I know I’ll never go there as a spot to eat. However, if I’m looking for a spot to enjoy a couple of drinks with live music then I’d...
