After coming in for breakfast croissants and coffee, we came back to get the chimney cakes, more coffee, and smoothies. The kids liked the sweet, cinnamon & sugar chimney cake with Nutella and my husband and I really enjoyed the savory chimney cake with ham & turkey, Swiss cheese & pesto in the cheddar jalapeño outside. The jalapeños gave it a kick if you like spicy, and we do! If this was in Oklahoma, I’d be a regular!

Wow! What a gem. We have been coming to lake city in the off season for years now and have been wanting that perfect coffee shop latte! It was so amazing. We are going everyday this week. Their pastry’s are SO FRESH AND FLUFFY! The chocolate croissant is the best I’ve ever had. Their lattes are amazing. The service is so amazing! We sat back on the patio with our dogs. It was so perfect!!! Can’t wait to go back!

I was so excited to find incredible coffee in Lake City. The gluten free meat muffin, yuzu beignet, almond croissant, pistachio latte and Turkish coffee on the back patio are the perfect combination before a long drive back to the front range. Our entire group raved about the pastries and beverages, you can’t go wrong with Cafe 98. Thank you for the warm hospitality, we will definitely be back!
