Sakura Fusion — Restaurant in Lake City

Earlier this afternoon I called in an order for takeout. I was very disappointed with most of the food when I opened it up at home. The Rainbow Roll the yellow tail fish looked gray in color and tasted like cardboard. The pieces of spicy tuna sushi roll were the size of a nickel, much smaller than usual. I ordered two egg rolls but got small spring rolls instead. The chicken in my General TSO was so dry it tasted like I was trying to eat sticks. I’ve never had General TSO chicken with pieces of orange rind in the sauce. At first I thought the pieces were pieces of hot peppers but no, they were pieces of orange rind. The broccoli in the dish was turning yellow and looked like it had been roasted instead of stir fried; needless to say, I could not eat the General TSO order. The fried rice that came with the TSO chicken was good, as was the order of dumplings I ordered. I spent almost $40 for food only to be able to eat a small portion of the items I ordered. I am highly disappointed in the quality of the food I was served today. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. You would be better off going to Florence...

Rude, impatient, unfriendly. I am in town on business and I called ahead to see if they were open as most places here close on Sunday and a man curtly answered the phone and hung up on me before I could ask a question. Against my better judgement, I decided to drive over and when I entered the owner could not care less that I was there and was incredibly dismissive of me. Shortly thereafter a woman walked from the back (who I assume was his wife) and I greeted her with a smile, to which she shot me an angry stare as if I was inconveniencing her. I hardly ever write yelp reviews, unless the service is sublime..but this encounter proved to be the polar opposite and I feel obligated to share my experience. Take it for what you will, but I could not more emphatically steer you away...

Nice and clean, good food considering the fact that it is a fast hibachi style restaurant. You cannot expect it to be better than miyabi's at a quarter of the cost. However, if you are in the area and should like to feed your family some decent hot food prepared in a clean manner then this is an absolute delight. Excellent service and very affordable. Ever growing menu and quality made meals. I wont rank it a 5 star restaurant because it isn't. However in an area where we don't have much 5 star dining, it is hard not to rank a very solid 4 star experience such as this with 5 stars. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Also, this is coming from a very skeptical local who is very picky with his food lol. Give them a shot and I hope...
