Someone referred me to this salon. I called, no answer. I called another day, no answer. I called another day, no answer. All calls were made during business hours. I made a last attempt and got an answer. The woman said she was booked through October. She said she would pass my name and number to the other stylists and they would call me back if they could schedule me. Wait … what? Is there a new way of running hair salons? Now no stylist’s schedule is at the front desk to schedule an appointment? Wait, you’re not working together anymore? I realize times are hard getting ppl to work, but this is new. I realize this is a very small town, but professionalism and hospitality is everywhere. She wasn’t rude. She did have zero personality on the phone. No pleasantry to her voice. No, I’m sorry. No, thank you, have a nice day. Just to the point, gotta go, I’m busy if you’re not for me. I’m sure they’re sweet as pie to their regulars. Oh well, next! 3/5/23: Well, I wanted to try one more time to see if the rave reviews were true and I just had bad luck, so giving them the benefit of the doubt. No receptionist. The woman took my name & number and said she would send a group text. No one has called. I guess they’re good to go. I called Michaels On Mane. He picked up the phone, looked at his schedule and booked me. Said thank you for calling. He was extremely polite and sweet. Guess I’ve found my new stylist. Thanks Michael!!!...

I spoke with a stylist called Lacey Powell. Scheduled my appt w her for her to at the last minute telling me we have to reschedule. I canceled my plans and rescheduled for a few days later … only to see a text at the LAST minute telling me a lame excuse that she might have to either delay or cancel my appointment bc she lost her car keys. Despite such a sorry excuse of a story she gave I had to actually be the one to text her to see if I would still be able to come in. Then she just ghosted me???
