El Burrito Taco Shop — Restaurant in Lake Elsinore

Outside looked a little sketchy but was interested in trying the food so I went through the drive-thru. The menu can be overwhelming with all the choices and there are no pictures on the drive thru menu so I would suggest looking online at their menu and deciding what you want beforehand. I got the surf and turf nacho fries and the breakfast burrito. I also asked to mix the Agua frescas, so I got a pineapple /horchata drink. The nachos were great! Big portion, lots of carne asada and shrimp, it had chipotle sauce so kinda spicy and delicious. I always get worried when getting shrimp because most places do not clean out the poop tract, every shrimp was clean! There was a good amount of sauce and guacamole, the fries were crispy, not soggy, there weren’t any beans and I like it that way. 10/10 would order again. My husband got the breakfast burrito, it was full of meat eggs and potato’s , it was huge, he said it was great. The drive thru staff was friendly, the food was fast. Food: we got 3 items American surf turf 10/10 the burrito was flavorful and soft! Santos burrito 100/1000 My bf loved the shredded beef that he even ate the onions Salsa and chips Salsa is a garden 8.5/10 Chips warm and salty 10/10

Honestly better than Chipotle plus supporting a local business 100% better Price is worth it because you get a hefty burrito that will fill you up.

Service really welcoming that guy was patient and friendly easy to talk too.

If you love soccer they have a lot of it, that place was clean clean 10/10 lots of tvs to watch shows . Nice place to sit down for the World Cup and eat a big burrito.

Ps we just move to Lake Elsinore and we enjoy to find and support local businesses instead of franchises. But this spot highly recommended

The food was great! Very tasty! We ordered a carne asada quesadilla, carne asada burrito and asada fries! They were all great. The meat was 😀flavorful and not filled with a ton of fat/inedible parts like you get from most of the other nearby Mexican restaurants. The only thing I would suggest is an improvement on their salsas. That’s the only things that was not worth 5 stars. I tried both salsas- red and green and they both were watery and didn’t have any flavor. With that also having some chiles- fresh or grilled- that would complete the tasty food and get 5 stars from me!
