We’re do I begin. The park it’s self is great with lots of amenities for kids and adults but that’s besides the point. My husband, I and our two kids started full time rv living back in December. We heard a lot of good about launch pointe and figured we’d try it out. Things were going great until a weekender decided he was going to confront my child over a very small issue. There were some choice words thrown by my self and the other party. I brought it to Joanna the manager and of course I got blamed for the entire thing because I was a long term guest and she holds only long term guest to a higher standard, so basically those who are only there for the weekend can do whatever they please. After that incident we come to cinco de mayo weekend and my husband and I are wrongfully accused of our child not being supervised at the event, when in fact I was still down there watching my child and some of my neighbor’s children, which I have witnesses who will speak on that. I took all of the kids to get something to eat and drink and I let them go back and play for a few until their food came out, I would then go back and get them to eat, not to mention, they were all in my line of sight the entire time. Joanna then called my husband and I into a meeting regarding not watching my child at the event and she didn’t like that fact that I stood up for myself and let her know that I was there with my child the entire time. She proceeded to tell me that she had a rap sheet of complaints of my site and my name was thrown in there specifically. I asked her to provide those complaints and she said she would via email. 2 weeks go by and not one email from Joanna. Joanna and her boss Beau then show up to my site between 8:30-9:30 and proceed to hand my husband a 72 hr eviction notice that says we were in violation of their code of conduct. Again I sent another email after receiving that notice asking for proof of all of the complaints and violations and Joanna once again fails to provide proof. She’s a narcissistic manager who wants you to put your tail between your legs and do whatever she wants you to. She’s letting the title of manager get to her head. She’ll act like she’s your friend but turn around and talk about you behind your back to other rv park guest. I have someone who can attest. So if you plan on being a long term guest, make sure you do not end up on her radar or she will target you until she decides to kick you out. She also won’t confront you about anything, she just sits in her office all day and watches your every move from her flat screen tv and numerous cameras around the park
Another thing My 6 yr olds electric bike got stolen and I reported it to her and her boss and they both said they didn’t see anything on the cameras but they can spot the weaker coming over the fences in the middle of the night. There are also three different cameras that point directly at the lowest point of the gate and through the main gate. I know she didn’t like me but why lie about not seeing a kids bike being stolen but you can tell me and others about things you can see clear as day from your cameras
Because Joanna can’t put her emotions aside and decided to wrongfully evict us, my family is now being forced out of state to be able to continue...
Read moreWe hosted his annual Firefighter Ball at Launch Pointe, and it could not have been a better venue! Since we used it in December, the entire space had such a warm and festive feel that it already felt like Christmas; cozy and inviting, so we barely had to decorate. The venue is new, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed for events.
Upstairs, the outdoor area was perfect for our cigar bar, DJ, and photo booth, giving guests a fun space to mingle and enjoy the night air. Downstairs provided plenty of room for dining, easily accommodating 120 guests with round tables, plus extra space for a dessert table, gift table, and even a dance floor. The flow of the space made it comfortable and convenient for everyone.
The kitchen setup was also a huge plus, with a serving window for food or drinks and a full kitchen for catering. We used the window to set up a bar and hire a bartender to serve drinks.
On top of the great layout, the planner was so friendly (shout out Jazz), organized, and easy to work with, which made the entire process stress free.
Overall, Launch Pointe is a hidden gem for events. Between the cozy atmosphere, spacious layout, and excellent value, it’s absolutely worth 5 stars. Highly recommend for weddings, parties, or any...
Read moreMy husband and I celebrated our wedding at Launch Point and it was so incredibly beautiful. The venue comfortably fit 150 of our guests and Jazz, the venue manager, did an incredible job with making sure the event ran smoothly. Leading up to the wedding, Jazz was super responsive and answered all our questions in a timely manner. The venue itself was gorgeous. The lake view was right behind us during the ceremony and photos turned out phenomenal. This venue is a DIY which allowed many costs to be cut as we had the ability to choose all of our own vendors. However, that does add more to the to do list since they only provide tables and chairs and we had to purchase the linens, plates, silverware, etc. We also rented out all the yurts and airstreams for our guests which allowed for the party to keep going since the venue has a hard cut off at 10pm. If you are looking for a DIY type venue, affordable, and a glamping experience, this is the venue for you! Thank you Launch Point and Jazz for hosting us and making it the best wedding weekend...
