This place is horrible… my family went camping here this past weekend and it’s just disgusting. Maintenance workers are tenants to my knowledge, very nosey they try to be nice to get to know you but then very rude. Make you feel very uncomfortable. Seems like they have tenants there to watch you, my family was getting our firewood and tenants came a few times and said they seen us looking for wood that they can give us some we politely said no thank you, different tenants approached us throughout our stay. No rules are enforced !!!!!! •One of the nights other campers or tenant lit up huge loud fireworks that were very uncalled for scared our kids and dog. No one came to see who lit them or stopped it •through out our stay campers/tenants big dogs were not on a leash and approached our kids scariest moment to not know if that dog would’ve bit our kids or attacked our dog. Once again no one came to enforce any rule! We kept trying to see the bright side and stay for another day but sadly our last night there we had to leave at 1:30 am due to loud obnoxious tenants that made us feel very unsafe with such a hostile environment..they rushed to a site right next to us when supposedly the speed limit is 5mph playing very loud music and multiple cars that kept coming and going, parked left there cars on with doors open playing loud music we tried to let them enjoy they had a few kids with them came to ask our kids if they can borrow our toys…. but it was getting late so we politely went over and asked if the music can just be lowered down a little due to our kids tryin to go to be along with us adults and they got very loud and rowdy saying that they were not goin to sleep all night and that they were tenants and know all rules and they can give us the number to the management when we had already called the office before asking them to lower the music and manger said “I’m in bed call in the morning” after we asked those tenants that they turned there cars over to point there head light lit up out whole camp sight and started revving there engine for no reason and we felt very unsafe so we had to pack and leave due to the traffic of cars that kept coming in and out and they were under the influence and we didn’t want to risk them crashing into our cars or tents. Sad part is that as soon as they seen we were all packed up and leaving music was off so were their cars peaceful and quiet like if they were trying to get...

We stayed at Coyote Cove Campground at Emerald Bay RV Park on Lake Elsinore, and the short version is: the lakefront is beautiful, the free kayaks and firewood are great… but this is a rustic experience, and the website doesn’t tell you the full story.

First off, the map is misleading. Above a certain point is a long-term RV section (feels more like a small trailer park), and the “dump station” on the map? It’s actually a row of port-a-pottys. Definitely not what I pictured.

Amenities are not as straightforward as advertised:

Only two showers total, located in the main bathrooms, and they’re coin-operated ($2 for 5 min, $2.75 for 7). This is not mentioned anywhere on the website, so bring quarters.

Very little lighting at night — you’ll need lanterns or headlamps.

The biggest challenge for us was the bugs — and I mean a LOT of them. Gnats, bees, wasps, mosquitoes, and huge flies made eating outside a struggle. If you’re coming here, bring netting, bug spray, and maybe a screened canopy.

The redeeming qualities? The lake view is gorgeous, the free kayaks are a fun touch, and $5 firewood is a nice bonus. But if you’re expecting a polished family campground with clear amenities, you’ll probably be frustrated.

Bottom line — if you’re prepared for rustic camping with bugs, minimal facilities, and bring your own lighting and quarters, you’ll enjoy the lake. If not, you might...

I live here and since i moved here 4 years ago new owners took over. Since then theres been a security gate at the only enterance ....the new owners have done everything in their power to increase rent . Many people have moved due to that and this place offers no imenities . No pool no playground but theres a laundry room....yay. wich is good becUse nobodys allowed to ha ve their own washers here.if you live here you can only have 2 cars or youll be charged 100 $a month. I had a shed and it was not a problem untill the new people took over. Now im charged storage even though my sheds my own and on my own space so that was another example of how they price gouge here...i pay it every month and it pisses me off! I doubt its even legal...George still mznages the place and everybody enjoys him Hes been here quite awhile and he always has a welco.ming smile. If youre lookin for an rv park youll expect to pay 1500 a month for a basic spot. Thats all i have to say. It is pretty ex going...

We came just for the day to join family who had already reserved a spot for the weekend—and we’re so glad we did! The spot was perfect. We set up right next to a tree with plenty of shade, just a few steps from the water. The lake was warm and calm, with over 20 feet of shallow water—perfect for the kids to walk and play safely without worry. It was the ideal setup: relax with a drink in your hand, cook, eat, and enjoy time with the family. The space was large enough to comfortably fit a group of 11, with 4 cars and 4 tents. The area is gated with showers and restrooms available—very convenient. Only downside: the tree near our site was shedding fuzzy things, and when the wind picked up, they flew everywhere. A bit annoying, but definitely not a dealbreaker. Still a great place for a family getaway!

Went my first time this weekend with a group of about 15 and we all got a great camp site with plenty of trees and space for our vehicles and tents. We had benches and a fire pit and we were half way from the restrooms and the lake. The bathrooms are maintained pretty good. The lake water is so warm and your able to fish and ride boats or jetskis. There are no bbq grills but we brought our own. Overall I would come again with my family. We had a great time and the price was not bad.
