Despite the reviews warning of bad service, we decided to try Silo anyway. I have never regretted coming to a restaurant so much. After we were seated the waitress came by and we order three deep dish pizzas and enchilada soup. A couple minutes later the waitress dropped off the soup and walked away. The soup was very very good and I wish we would have only ordered that. After waiting for about a half an hour our waitress came up and said that another waiter had given our food to another table and they were remaking it. She said it would be there shortly and gave us one of our pizzas right away. We finished the pizza and waited another 15 minutes. At no point in the meal did the waitress come to check on us or refill our drinks. A busser filled my drink once during the meal but that was it. The restaurant was not that busy and the waitress only had two other tables. Finally she came and dropped off our food. She gave us an extra pizza although we didn't really want it and left the table. After we quickly ate our pizzas we waited another 15 to 20 minutes for her to drop off our check. She walked by our table multiple times but seemed to ignore us. Both of our waters were empty and we were waiting for the check and she did not seem to check on our table at all. The waitress dropped off our check and quickly apologized and gave us a 3 dollar off coupon that we could have printed from online for our troubles. After this we got up to pay and the owner was at the front as the cashier. I told him our waitress gave us a three dollar coupon because the service was very poor and it was disappointing. The owner said "that's too bad" and swiped my card. I have never been to such a terrible restaurant and I would be joyed if it were closed. There is no reason someone should have to eat here if customers are treated so poorly. I am going to rate this restaurant 1 star solely because there is no option to rate the restaurant 0 stars. I really really recommend you to spend your money elsewhere. There is a much better McDonalds and Panera in the area that would be much much better...
Read moreI was unfortunate to come across Miss Y as a server tonight and while I bet she could be an amazing person, she should find another career. We arrived when the restaurant was pretty empty and we sat immediately. Then however, it took quite some time to be greeted by Miss Y and that should have been my first clue on how the rest of my experience was going to be. Our drinks took forever to be given to us and then we waited over 40 minutes for food. There were four of us and we watched as people sat, were served and left all before we had gotten a bite to eat. When our food came out, mind you we only received two orders, my “nachos” looked like a salad and my husbands cheesesteak was only warm. When she came back a few minutes later to bring out a personal taco pizza, I asked why I had lettuce on nachos, where was the sour cream and where was any guacamole. She actually argued with me as I have the menu pulled up on my phone that that is how their “nachos” are made and that she’s been asking them to fix the “online menu”. I went to physically check the actual menu and it’s the exact same. Now, yes I’m a little irritated but I can try to get past it. Also, I should mention that now since the first time I laid eyes on my “nacho-salad”, it’s been 15 or so minutes and my sons very basic personal cheese pizza is no where. She took the nacho-salad back to have it “remade”, I then received a HUGE glob of nacho cheese with tomatoes, sour cream and guacamole in cups on the side. I had basically a bowl of nacho cheese and a few sides of audacity. Completely unnecessary on their part. I literally looked at her and told her to take it back if this is how they’re going to act. Oh, still no cheese pizza. When she took it back, I could hear her yelling from the kitchen. What I don’t understand is how you have only two tables and it takes an hour to get them their food and it’s wrong and Luke warm at best. We finally got the cheese pizza 10 minutes...
Read moreMy co-worker recommended Silo's Supreme Pizza and she really hit the nail with this one. The crust is so fluffy and cooked all the way through and the toppings all come together so beautifully, however I did not enjoy my experience there at the restaurant. I placed my order at 6:45 and was told it would be ready at 7:20. I walk in at that time where I ask if the accept both cash and Samsung pay and they say yes. They then informed me I needed to wait until my order would be ready and that they would give me a call. I went back to my vehicle and waited.. and waited.. i called them instead at 7:30 and walked in because they said it was ready.. For my first time being there I was not impressed with the way the manager Hunter spoke to me. I needed to pay both cash and card because I knew I had limited funds in my bank account. I did not realize I was short on money going in and I quickly counted the change in my wallet to see if I could pay the $3.73 balance that was remaining. When I realized I didn't have the funds I apologized to the person waiting behind me and to the lady ringing me up and told her I would have to get a return because I could not pay my balance. She went for Hunter and he spoke to me in a way that was not appreciated. I felt embarrassed and my appetite quickly went away. He still had the audacity to tell me their website had a coupon for $3 that I could use next time. (Please sir, I just wanted to duck and run) I still had to stick around after being told to "bring enough money next time".
Having been in that situation makes me want to stay away for a while. The lobby was full and all I really wanted was a return anyway. No one was asking for handouts. I gave him all the change I had and will be giving him the remainder when I gain the...
