Best Brews Taproom — Restaurant in Lake Havasu City

Ok SO, I had really high hopes for this place. Rickety Cricket just opened a new location in Lake Havasu so I was really excited to try the original off Beale St. in Kingman. The building itself puts off a super cool vibe. The front has garage like windows that open up which is so nice when there’s a cool breeze and it’s approaching sunset. So we go in, sit down, and order a flight of beers.There’s maybe 4 or 5 other tables in the entire restaurant. It takes the server 20 minutes to bring us our flight holder (just the holder) to have us write on it ourselves the beers we want. After giving the server the flight holder, another 20 minutes goes by. She brings back only 3/6 beers we ordered as she explains they were out of the other 3..ok fine..so we chose something else. Next up, we order our food. The menu is super limited (pizza, wings, pasta, and Mac n cheese). I order the Jalepeno mac n cheese and the server explains they are out of that as well. Lol at this point it’s comical. I ask her what else is good (aside from pizza) and she recommends the boneless Buffalo Parmesan wings. Ok that sounds good, I thought, so I go with those. The wings come out and they’re like, dinky little chicken nuggets with Buffalo seasoning and Parmesan powder on them..not what I was expecting at all or explained in the menu as a dry rub... Lastly, we purchase a growler and the bartender doesn’t even fill it up all the way it’s like 2/3..and I’m being nice..This was our first time there and will probably be our last.. My girlfriend and I are big on checking out local breweries and taprooms so we hit this place up on our last night in Lake Havasu City. Man, we are upset that we waited so long to check it out.

Between us we tasted probably 10 different beers and every single one was great. I can’t praise Brennan enough, what an excellent bartender and host. He suggested different pour combinations that were great as well. Had some great conversations with people, which was great to be at a bar where the music didn’t drown everything out.

We didn’t get a chance to try the food, the website graphic says there’s only burgers Thursday-Saturday but turns out the food truck is there on Sundays too. The couple next to us said it was the best burger they’ve ever had.

Highly, highly recommend this taproom, especially if you’re just looking for a place to relax and have some good conversation with people. 10/10 will be back every time we visit...

So the UA p's Britney and Jeremy are known to do the Tuesday night open mic. And it's amazing I've done a few songs, and if you don't know how to play the instrument they'll Play For You. RICKETY Cricket Taproom has 1 of the best root beers, this side of the Mississippi, what a great atmosphere owned by some Amazing people and. That's why it's doing so well.
