Whenever I want to go out and have a good time I always start at the Flying X. The food is good especially the garlic parmesan wings and potato skins. The drinks are delicious and a little strong. They have a good beer selection. And the staff here are ALL very friendly. From the bartenders to the servers you can be sure you will be well taken care of. Tuesdays thru Saturdays the place is kickin. The have great live bands and dancing. The Flying X has a country atmosphere with a little rock n roll. Mondays are karaoke Tuesdays you can learn line dancing and Wednesdays after 5pm you can see around 30 or more beautiful Harleys parked out in front. And the bikers are gathered in side having a good time. I would estimate most of the bikers are baby boomers. In fact I would have to say average age group on any day is 40 and up. But the weekends attract a younger lively audience mostly out of towners. Lots of fun for everyone at...
Read moreI went in here a few weekends ago and had two beers. I ran outside excited to grab a girlfriend of mine who I hadn't seen in years that came down to see me, not realizing i had a glass in my hand still. Clearly I was not drunk, just excited to see my friend and accidentally brought the glass out. When we went back inside the bartender refused to serve us after that. So I said that's fine I'll go spend my money elsewhere. I'm astonished by the hostility of this bartender. I can understand wanting to keep the glasses in the bar, but this was clearly not a situation where I was going to steal or drop the glass and his reaction was unwarranted. Never coming here again after how rudely I...
Read moreMy wife and I go to the Flying X to watch the band we enjoy going there on Thursdays. We have something to eat, have a couple of beer and dance. Last night however we where there and I had ordered a Coors Light draft when it came I took one sip and realized it was not a Coors Light. I took it to the bar tender which promply dumped it out and replaced it with the right beer. When it came time to settle my tab I was charged for the dumped beer and told that it was a Coors Light. My question is why would I ask to have the beer replaced if the first one was right. In my opinion I was treated badly, we go there and spend about $50.00 every Thursday have a beer and some fun. Unfortunately over the actions of the bar tender and staff of the Flying X Saloon it has left a bad taste...
