Staff was friendly but completely lacked knowledge of menu or how to communicate menu details. I asked 4 times what was in a particular latte. I first got explained what a latte is... I know it includes milk & tea. 2nd, 3rd, 4th try and finally I thought I knew what ingredients were in this particular menu item (milk & the specific tea used), so I ordered that special latte. What I got was just the tea sachet and hot water; not a latte. The girl did fix it. Except I saw her add a pump of something to the tea and milk. I asked what it was. She said vanilla syrup. This wasn’t an ingredient I’d been told and would’ve gotten the sugar free if I’d known. She said I could do that next time if I wanted. The latte was tasty but not exactly what I would’ve gotten if I’d actually known what was in it. If the staff is new, the recipes/ingredients should be written down somewhere so that customers know exactly what they’re getting. I have sugar issues, so knowing something with sugar being added is somewhat a big deal.

The atmosphere was great. Would probably give it another try. But only 3...

Another Update...Once again stopped in for a hot Carmel Cake coffee Another UPDATE...and what else, of course Caramel Cake Iced Coffee. That's it because the wife is drinking it, gotta go!

UPDATE as we walked around Downtown Lake Orion today we had to stop and get a large Caramel Cake Iced Coffee. And once again received great service!

My wife says this is the go to place for her Guatemala ground coffee for under $20 and while we're there, a large Iced Caramel Cake coffee for under $7 is delicious. The staff is very pleasant and helpful if you don't know what you want as far as drink or any of the coffees. It is a very relaxing place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere and your coffee. On several previous visits we happened to listen to someone playing the piano and on another occasion there was someone playing a guitar and singing. A nice little coffee shop in downtown Lake Orion.

We were out and about on a weekday ( we have tried to come on weekends but they are closed on Sunday, which is our usual day of running errands and such) so it was nice to finally get to try this place.

They have a nice chill vibe and a good mix of tables and comfy seating, which is how a coffee shop / cafe should be in my opinion.

They have a decent selection of different drinks as well as rotating seasonals. They do have some baked goods as well but not a ton of stuff.

The coffee was good, no complaints from us.

The staff were also fairly friendly and pleasant.
