This tiny establishment is so cute and the food was delicious! The server was very friendly and helpful with our menu questions. Potstickers had a delicate well seasoned filling and a nice thin wrapper. The Mongolian Beef was one of the best we've ever had! It was melt in your mouth tender and included lots of onion, which we love. My only critique would be, the fensi was stir fried in, as opposed to garnished on top, so it lost its crunch. The Green Bean Chicken was spectacular! We chose the Spring Rolls as the included side with both entrees and they were nice and crunchy- not greasy. Their jasmine rice is good and sticky too! The Egg Flower soup was a miss for us. It included small pieces of rice noodles and we would've preferred a more egg forward version. The entire menu and drinks are VERY reasonably priced, which in today's economy is a breath of fresh air! My only reason for 4 stars on atmosphere is, the floor leading to the restroom was VERY sticky. I had to clean the bottoms of my shoes with a wet cloth. ;-)
Overall, we will...
Read moreSo, let me get this straight. I have been a tremendous supporter of this new establishment, having purchased more than a dozen take-out dinners in the last month or two–and wrote a glowing review. Everytime I come in, they say, "we haven't seen you in SO long." Yesterday, due to a myriad of Prius battery issues, I ordered from the parking lot. I explained my predicament, paid part of the bill in cash to a waitron who came out to get it, and the balance with a credit card which I entrusted to the waitron to take inside and charge-–which he promptly did. Fifteen to twenty minutes later, no food order, no return of CC. When I dashed in to check, they were just starting my order, which isn't horrible, yet Jade asked to see my photo ID to ensure I was the de facto owner of a CC which I JUST GAVE THEM––and have used for two months at this same restaurant. I have trusted and supported them from day one only to be met with unjustified behavior. There is far too much competition for this nonsense....
Read moreWhat a cute and clean establishment. Everything was two thumbs up at Lungfung wok N grill! The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and comfort table. And the food was fantastic! The egg flour soup was delicious and not weighed down with tons of veggies. Some sweet corn and savory egg chicken broth. Just how I remember it as a kid years ago! It was perfect! The crab Rangoon were filled with just the right amount of cream cheese and crab, and fried a beautiful crispy brown. My husband got the sesame chicken and I got the chicken teriyaki. Both dishes were delicious. I really enjoyed stealing off my husbands plate cause the sesame chicken really was outstanding. The teriyaki chicken was wonderful, too….my picking off my spouse’s plate is certainly not a criticism about the teriyaki. I would order it again in a heartbeat. If you find yourself in Lake Oswego, trying to decide where to eat, don’t overlook Lungfung. They will welcome you with open arms and serve you...
