Great dog park, love it! Most dog owners are responsible and watch over their dogs as well as pick up after their dogs. Of course you'll come across those who won't do either occasionally here, so please just watch over your own dogs well-being, and watch your shoes for residue, and definitely wash your dogs paws before coming inside your house. It happens! There's a communal dog water bowl that gets shared and a water spout, but I suggest bringing your own dogs water bowl, or a spare cup, unless your dog has recently taken their bordtella pill (once a year) to help slow down catching a nasty bug! Otherwise love the nature and the park here, it's gated and awesome.

Our absolute favorite doggie park!! Would love to have a dog sprinkler in the summer. Can we make this happen??

Great area, big park with grass and wood chip areas for dogs to run around with their dog friends.

We used to go to Summerlake Dog Park, as it's closer to us, but now we usually come here instead. It's so clean and nice, and is quite a bit quieter, the people more responsible, and the dogs more well-behaved. At Summerlake we've encountered some very unfriendly dogs and owners who didn't seem to really care, but we've never had a problem at Waluga. Plus with the natural area all around, it's a great way to spend an evening outside, even on the hottest summer day. The fences are in fantastic shape and I love that there are two double-gate entrances. The water spigot also works well and is such a nice thing to have - we don't really bother going to parks that don't have water available at the site. The only improvement I could suggest is more benches and/or tables - there's only one place to sit, and it's in the corner of the area that remains in the sun for the longest in...

Includes a large fenced in area for dogs to freely do their dog things. And a small exercise equipment area for people to workout and do people things. The kids might enjoy the play area that has a large sand-pit with dozens of donated toys in it. It has a covered area with a few picnic tables & has a working restroom, which had soap, running water & a hand dryer. There are off-path trails; use caution, lots of trip hazards & one of those trails leads to a swampy sewage...
