We used to go to Summerlake Dog Park, as it's closer to us, but now we usually come here instead. It's so clean and nice, and is quite a bit quieter, the people more responsible, and the dogs more well-behaved. At Summerlake we've encountered some very unfriendly dogs and owners who didn't seem to really care, but we've never had a problem at Waluga. Plus with the natural area all around, it's a great way to spend an evening outside, even on the hottest summer day. The fences are in fantastic shape and I love that there are two double-gate entrances. Otherwise love the nature and the park here, it's gated...

The kids might enjoy the play area that has a large sand-pit with dozens of donated toys in it. It has a covered area with a few picnic tables & has a working restroom, which had soap, running water & a hand dryer. There are off-path trails; use caution, lots of trip hazards & one of those trails leads to a swampy sewage...
