Subway — Restaurant in Lake Oswego

Probably the cleanest subway I have been in. Service used to be really good. Seems like the last month it has gone down hill. Put in a to go order using the Subway App, said it would be ready at 12:30. Showed up at 12:45, and the order had not even been started. I feel bad for the only employee working the lunch rush as he had 10 people deep in line and did even start my to go order. What type of franchise asshat only has one employee working the lunch rush. If your employees call in sick, get yourself in there and start making sandwiches and be better to your good employees so they don't leave or call in sick at the last minute. What a sad, disappointing experience. We were greeted at the door by a sign telling us they were out of turkey and ham. The staff added rotisserie chicken to that list. As others have pointed out, the kiosk system is a dystopian nightmare. We had to dodge so many screens pushing chips, drinks, and other accoutrements that we didn't notice missing options to add mayo, mustard, or oil & vinegar. The sandwiches were worse than the ordering process. Smaller than they used to be (bread was 1 mm thick). Bread was stale. Got about eight shreds of lettuce and five olives on a 6-inch sandwich. The owner should be run out of town. You'll find a better sandwich in the vending machine at a Greyhound station. Even Jared is embarrassed...

Thank you so much. I had to get a replacement sandwich and felt super bad doing so and the female sandwich artist that assisted me was super helpful. She did an amazing job making a new sandwich for me and it also seems she may have gone over and beyond when making this replacement sandwich! Thanks for the amazing food, I will recommend it to my grandmother and her bingo friends the next time everyone comes over for a potluck!
