So, I went to the restaurant last night 8:11pm. I just continue to order my order the lady on the speaker told me to pull up. I continued to tell her that I wasn't ready to pull up, I need to know the total of the amount on the order. So I can use my coupon she said pull up and you can use your coupon at the window, it'll take it off. I continue to tell her there's no point of me pulling up if my order doesn't reach a certain amount then the coupon won't work. She wouldn't listen to what I was saying. Then another lady came on the microphone. She took her time to repeated my order. She was very respectfully and also told me the total. So I could reach the amount that the coupon would allow so I could use. "What was the point of me pulling up to the window if my order isn't complete" the way it needs to be in order for the coupon to work so when the young lady came on the microphone after the disrespectful first person spoke to me. I told the nice young lady I appreciate her speaking to me and answering my question instead of trying to dismiss me. I would like to speak to the manager and please hand me my receipt. When I received my order and I asked the young lady may I speak to the manager the lady who handed me my order was the manager and I asked her shockingly "you're the manager" and "you're speaking to people on the microphone like that". That is very disrespectful. I didn't appreciate the manner you were speaking to me. The manager continued speaking to me back and forth as she acted as she did nothing wrong. I was explaining to her the way she treated me was uncalled for then I heard an accent in her voice as she is a Haitian woman. I spoke Creole right back to her to explain it to her in her own language that I didn't appreciate it. The way she spoke to me and the way you speak to a person coming to your establishment is very disrespectful and very dismissive. First incident was at the drive thru a few weeks ago and I asked for my receipt for proof of purchase. They made it seem like I was the inconvenience that they had to refill the paper in the cashier machine. So I had to wait for that as well as hear them speak a language unknown to me and I can only assume what they were talking about. Really uncomfortable at this point. So the manager came to pull up receipt only to hand me a paper that showed my cost for item and not how much my card was charged for. Basically they tried to make it seem like I wouldn't know the difference. So I pulled over and was about to enter the store and demand my proof of transaction. But I looked up my bank info to make sure my card was charged properly and it was. Not a big deal but I should not have to go so much trouble for a receipt that they should provide.
That was the first incident which I let it go but my perspective at this Wendy's was on the verge of change which today it did.
Going to the drive thru to spend my money and already attitude at the window when I ask for honey mustard it's a bother. That was not what crossed the line. We had to wait for a sandwich to be made which is no big deal because it happens. A family/ friend member of an employee at Wendy's parks her car. Walks up to the drive thru and picks up food for herself. Whether it was paid for none of my business. What is my business is when the employee tells the family member to give this bag (my food) to the car over there. This employee would have someone( not an employee of Wendy's) hand me my food. Read more🚩🚩I placed a MOBILE ORDER via the app got to this location gave my name at the speaker they tell me to pull to the windows, get ti the window the lady who looks to be the manager (because he shirt was different from the rest) tells me they don't have any salads, ok fine no problem. I asked how do I cancel the whole order so i can get a refund and go elsewhere, she tells me go back through the app which is understandable( I work where we handle mobile orders) so I can't cancel due to them pulling the order I use the "contact us" so I can do a refund( I spent a little over $15) so next day I have a email from "general store manager" to give him a call🚩🚩 I call thinking maybe he wanted to replace my meal. He states he wanted to get some info because the crew or manager didn't give any info.
