IHOP — Restaurant in North Palm Beach

I lost my grandad on 8/17/24 and my aunt and I needed a pick me up breakfast. We went to this restaurant right after he passed in our arms as we had a good memory not at this location but figured why not visit. We ordered the chicken fajitas omelette and a steak omelette. When the meal came we prayed and started eating when we noticed the omelette was missing some items. Now at this point we were having a sad day so we brought it to our waiter’s attention who knew nothing that was to be in it nor did he check on us being that my pancakes came after Michelle whom we were told is the supervisor came and was being rude to us for asking a question. The chefs were kind enough to understand they made a mistake and was apologetic as they told us they were out of items and made it anyways but rude Michelle proceeded to let us know we were problematic. Despite the disrespect we paid our bill and left. I have been in the restaurant business managing restaurants and businesses for years and honestly need to correct their customer services. I went today 7/27/25! So let me start off by saying MARISSA was an excellent server. She was very delightful when she greeted us after being seated and ensured we were taken care of besides that I noticed she sticks to self and doesn’t congregate much (does her job). On the other hand MORGAN and the skinny black sever that had burgundy plaits in her hair made the environment feel like high school. Lots of screaming about MORGANs business across the customers we SHOULDN’T know Morgan has a new man and that he possibly showed up. Also that we should never be able to know that you guys are refusing to serve a table and willing to pay someone to take the table. This is not the type of atmosphere I typically like to dine in as I deal with psychiatric patients and the environment is always loud and noisy! This place could have a better way of communicating to one another along with KEEPING PERSONAL BUSINESS OUT OF THE RESTAURANT SETTING we can careless who has a NEW MAN we just want our food in a timely manner and to see some smiles that’s all. Would like to start off by saying that this is the first review I've made and felt compelled to do so. Last night at 3:30 am I witnessed the waiter spit in his customers coffee and proceed to look around afterwards. On top of that the restroom smelled horrific and was filthy. Needless to say I left starving. Never again. Disgusting. I thank god I saw that before I ate. I would of went berserk if I had consumed anything before witnessing that. Called the manager this morning and his first remark was " it was the Hispanic waiter right?" No it was a white young man actually. He then proceeded to say that they reviewed camaras and didn't see anything . So why would he ask if the guy was Hispanic. Idk what cameras they are speaking of or if the cameras capture everything but it's obvious they are lieing. This place needs to be shut down asap. I wish I had let the other customers sitting know before I left. I've only seen things like that on tv. It's unbelievable. Where's is the health and food department?
