I have never been to this establishment before. As all of you can see, I don’t write reviews whatsoever about anything. The bartender, Brittany, and the owner, Brian, have been nothing but amazing in every way shape and form. Brittany had served me my drinks just the way I love them. No wait. She saw I was running low on the drinks, she refilled them before I could put my glass down. Simply amazing. Just like “Cheers”. Mr. Brian on the other hand, was more amazing and accommodating even more. I was waiting for uber outside for more than 20 minutes. I walked back inside the wonderful establishment named “Brewfontaine”. I asked if there were any taxi cab services available. Me. Brian said, “don’t worry about it, I’ll give you a ride “. Since I’m from Philly, I said, “Get the F**k out of here “. I am not used to this kind of approach from people in need. Where I come from, you figure it out on your own. Mr. Brian, either the owner or the manager of that particular establishment, had offered me a ride back to the truck stop where my tractor trailer was parked at. I did take uber to get myself into the town itself. I have never been treated so kindly and respectfully in my life, especially when I was as tipsy as I was. I just would love to say thank you for an amazing experience in your restaurant, and a ride back to the truck stop. I truly appreciate your kindness and devotion to your costumers. Next time I am back in your humble town, I will be sitting at the bar stool right in front of you. Once again, thank you so much for your kindness, hospitality, and humility in the situation presented....
Read moreWe were traveling through the area and wanted to stop and have a bite to eat somewhere local and I am so happy that we found this place. The service was awesome, we were greeted as we walked into the door and got sat right away. They have a very good selection of sandwiches, so good. In fact that it was very hard to choose just one to try. It looked like their bar menu was very good as well. However, we did not partake in any adult beverages this go around. We ended up ordering the fried bologna sandwich and the Italian Mama Johnson sandwich both with chips. We ended up splitting them so we both could try each other's sandwiches because we were having such a difficult time deciding which one we wanted. The fried bologna sandwich was so good. It had just the right amount of salt to it, a little crispy from the grill. Oh my goodness it was so good! The Italian Mama Johnson was awesome. Definitely my favorite of the two. The peppers, the onions, the banana peppers and the ham. So very good. We can't wait to come back and try more. It's about a 40-minute drive from our house, but something that we will definitely be doing in the future. Highly recommend this place. What a great find! Parking seems to be pretty easy, plenty of parking in the front. I believe there's some public parking throughout bellefontaine. Check them out. I don't think you're going to go wrong. It's...
Read moreWho doesn’t love a good grilled sandwich?! I was able to split the Reuben and the steak sandwich at our table so I could try both. Both were very good, but I can report that the cheesesteak sandwich won. If I had to issue a complaint - I would say that the filling:bread ratio was won by the bread. I could have used a fuller sandwich. We both ordered coleslaw, and it was beautiful. You can see that in my picture I’ll post. But the taste of the kale won out. And that ain’t for me. I’ll eat kale, but the dressing could have been twangier or zestier for me personally.
And the real reason you go to a brewery - what’s on tap. Our server offered a couple samples, and I was even able to satisfy a curiosity about mead. Now I know. I settled on the cider and an IPA, and I’m sure I don’t have the names right now - so we will leave it at that. All of the staff was wonderful, and I think Bellefontaine has a real...
