Ordered: Cantina Trio with Chips: it was amazing! The Queso is quite nice, the seasoning adds great flavor and a touch of spice. The consistency of the Queso is good (it’s not thin, nor too thick). The salsa is fresh with the right amount of acidity that compliments the Queso and Guacamole. The guacamole is by far the best I’ve had at a restaurant in a very long time. The ratio of cilantro, tomatoes, onion and acidity is perfect! (Great choice as a starter to pair with a drink at the bar) Shrimp taco: honestly, you have to try it. It’s perfect! The shrimp was cooked perfectly, the toppings were fresh and compliments the sauce that comes on top. Add some lime juice and you’re golden! Prices: very fair! You get a good amount of food and the quality is exactly what you hope for! I left feeling full and refreshed. Nothing was greasy, all ingredients were fresh and left me feeling satiated and satisfied.
Drinks: Strawberry Fizz great drink and goes really well with the Cantina Trio. If you’re looking for a drink, that’s made well and compliments the flavors of the food, give this one a try! It’s not too sweet, but provides a perfect flair to your palate as you’re working through your tacos and guacamole. Ginger lime Agave: It’s nice and balanced between sweet and bitter. If you like sours on the touch of fresh and earthy with some sweet, you’ll enjoy this!
Staff: the Host was kind, friendly and very courteous. We were sat quickly and efficiently! Bar: the bar tender was great (Richard), drinks were made quickly, he was very personable and gave great recommendations for drink and food choice. My food came out at the right time (long enough to enjoy my drink on its own, and with the food) it was great timing by the kitchen staff! Atmosphere: the music wasn’t too loud, which is perfect for a nice dinner with drinks and friends. The lighting is great, just bright enough that you feel homey and secure while eating. Restrooms were clean, smelled nice and they provide complementary sanitary products for female guests
If you’re in the area, passing through, or would like to get out of the bustle of Columbus, grab some dinner or a quick bite with a few drinks here! I’ll be...
Read moreThe Good: Bathrooms are clean.
The Bad: Somehow the grilled chicken quesadilla got filled with about a cup of thick grease, they offer you sour cream or salsa but don't tell you it's $1.50/ea. cup... the food is already on the more expensive side.
Want queso on the side? That'll be $5. And they'll just change the price of the entree instead of itemizing it on the receipt, that'll take your burrito to $18!
They won't do anything about it if you say something either.
The meat for their tacos and quesadillas is also not cooked to order, but rather once at the beginning of the day (if you're lucky and it's not from the previous day!)
And funny enough, at the bottom of the receipt it says they'll charge you if you don't leave your receipt on the table!!!!!
I've NEVER seen this anywhere else..
When asking the staff about it, they went to the "manager" who just looked at us from across the room and smiled, but never gave us a reply.
The staff is clearly aware of the issues and not happy to be there either, it's a management problem.
Overall: 1/5 due to poor mgmt., high prices, and low quality, unhealthy...
Read moreBellfountain is known for good restaurants. This place did not disappoint. I was a little hesitant about trying this place as I heard mixed reviews. I have no clue why they were mixed. This place was great. The wait staff was attentive and upbeat. The food was fresh and delicious, and served quickly. It was cold when we got there, so we ate inside. It was quaint. There are two things that did concern me. First, there were about 10 appetizer choices and 8 of them revolved around corn chips. Delicious but somewhat limited. The other was that the seating area was fairly small. Warmer weather would open the outside and make things much better. Overall, an excellent experience; quick, delicious, and reasonably priced. I highly...
