Holland Theatre — Attraction in Lake Township

Weirdly, this could be anywhere from a 3 to a 5. My wife and I attended The Manhattan Trasnfer concert, 10/03/2023.

The reason it could be a three qas the sound was muddled. I don't know if it was the theaters' speaker system or what TMT was using or the interface between the two, but for the kind of performances TMT does, it was lacking. Instruments sounded good, vocals not so much. Not awful, not feedback, not too soft, just not crisp.

Why a 5? Everything else. Nicely maintained. Very clean Courteous staff. They have a small conessiin stand and a liquor license. Cupholders built itno the seat in front of you. Sests were comfortable and roomy. Lots of free parking around the theater.

Downtown Bellafontaine had several dining choices within walking distance. Sadly, the place we Qantas to try qas not open on Tuesdays, and our second choice was very busy, so we "settled" for a third Japanese/Chinese place that was quite good. So the amenities around the theater are nice. I may try to come back later in the month for Invasion of The Body Snatchers to see how they do with a movie. Depending on that, I may give them another chance for a concert.

This is our second visit ... both experiences were A+. We attended performance entitled COUPLES THERAPY. It was hysterical performance. The sound system was excellent and my wife who has hearing issues could almost hear everything said on stage without difficulty. The theater itself is amazing with an indoor facade of Dutch houses and windmills complete with tulips thus the name HOLLAND. The seating was pretty good, plus it has cup holders on the seats in front of you. The ambiance was beautiful with a couple moving parts. Car enthusiasts spent the day in and out of the theater watching live feed from the Up Hill Climb Revival 5 on August 26, 2023. They serve only beer and wine. No hard liquor. UHCR5 had our award ceremony and catered dinner from a local restaurant there. Chances are I'll be back for one of their live shows...
