Taste - Light on tartar sauce. Fish doesn't stand out on it's own. White bread is ok, but doesn't have much flavor. They might do better if they butter & toast the bread. Overall nothing really brings too much to the table, but it works. Combos come with drinks from black owned companies 3.5/5
Jerk salmon: Appearance - Salmon tops the bounty of rice. Darkened skin matted with spices. Inside is nice and pink. Delectably moist and so tender it breaks apart with ease 3/5
Taste - A slow burn happens immediately with every bite. It's not that spicy at all, but they did overdo it with the salt. The rice and salmon are extremely salty. It's not enough to make it inedible. The fact that this took 30 minutes to make & came out this overseasoned is disappointing. The spaghetti was middle of the road. It contained some spice & at least it wasn't overseasoned. 1/5
Jerk ribs: Appearance - Very basic. They must use some sort of marinade because I don't see any seasoning. Fall off of the bone tender. 3/5
Taste - Juicy. I don't detect too much jerk seasoning at all. There is a small hint of spice. It's disappointing, but the ribs are actually pretty good without the full jerk seasoning and after trying out that overseasoned salmon... I'm thankful they underseasoned this one. The rice is also seasoned correctly as well. It has a sweet undertone but not really spicy. The plantains threw me off because they're not chopped and look similar to the ribs. The platains are pretty sweet which to me is unusual, but a welcome treat. They also melt in your mouth like pudding. 4/5
Carribean drinks - Pretty dang good, but super carbonated so beware. 4/5
Customer Service: They put the food into the container while it was still too hot which melted and burned holes through the container. Rushing like this might explain why one dish was over seasoned. I wouldn't like them to slow down any slower than they already are since it took 30 minutes to get out a basic order and there were no more than five customers in the store at once. It's just disappointing that they have the stereotypical super slow service of black owned restaurants. To be fair the other side where they do the fish was much faster and I got my fish sandwich and what seemed to be about 6 minutes. 2/5
Overall, Dock's is a restaurant with a Carribean inspired menu that has fumbled out of the gate which is disappointing. The food could be good once they develop some sort of consistency. They also need to work on not rushing orders as it's creating issues. It won't break the bank, but Dock's does leave you wishing you made better choices.

I simply asked “IF” meaning if there’s a possibility “IF” I could have my drinks when my order was ready so my drink wouldn’t get hot. My husband had to go back to work and I didn’t want him to have a hot drink and the cashier said infront of everyone holding the cans in her hand like she didn’t want to put them back. “ we give you the drinks now Bc if I get a line you’ll be waiting behind all the ppl to get your drink so for future reference when we give you the drink you’ll have to take the drink” then turn around and began making fountain drinks for upcoming orders to give out with the orders as they became available not before. Ummmmm welll did I have to be check about my purchase my can pop. The disrespect the arrogance to tell me what I’ll have to deal with. Now I don’t know if it’s lack of custimer service exp or ignorance but one thing you shouldn’t do is talk like your chastising two city workers about what there paying for. If that’s your system explain it better or get a system that accodates your customers that want hot food and cold drinks. I was offended embarrassed Bc other customers were in there and I wasn’t gonna pick this point to fight about over a drink while hubby is in uniform but how dare you!!!! Read moreI have ordered from this location a couple of times because this is one place where u don't have to question whether or not the catfish fillets are actually catfish. I've never really had a bad experience until recently. Ordered a fillet dinner along with the wings and a perch dinner from Uber Eats. Upon arrival I noticed that the perch dinner box was kinda light. Opened this box and this is what looked back at me.... over cooked dried out hard pieces of perch without the fries. Food is to expensive for the restaurants to not care about the quality of the food that they serve. I was extremely disappointed because I do frequent this location and I felt like the cook just didn't care at this point. Ain't no way in hell the cook couldn't see tht the fish was over cooked.
