So, called Donatos after work..wanted to something a little different. Called a little after 9, ordered a large xcheese+pepperonni, and some 3 cheese garlic bread. They say 20 mins, I say awesome and the adventure begins. Arriving at Donatos, I pay for my order, see my bread in the window, but no pizza, girl says, be just a few minutes, allright, no problem. I wait for 10 more minutes, no one says a word, no one acknowledges me waiting, nothing. So, a few more minutes pass, bread now been sitting in the window a minimum of 20 minutes, getting nice and old and coagulated. Girl comes out, says, Oh, they are making your pizza now, the system crashed. No apology, nothing. I said okay, how long, she says about 20 more minutes. I said okay, you guys need to also remake my garlic bread, because I do not want to have hour old garlic bread and I expect the manager to do something to make this right. She says, sure no problem. 20 minutes pass, pizza comes out, yup, thats right, they didnt remake the garlic bread. So now, staff members in the back asking why the managers sitting in the office arent helping them catch up, arent helping them remake orders..nothing. And you guessed it, no manager has shown there face, other then a shift manager guy, who didnt have anything to say either. So, now they finally remake my bread, as the pizza sits and waits. So finally, an hour total later, my order is ready, they offer to give me the old crappy hour old garlic bread as well, I said, why would I want hour old food and what is the manager WHO STILL HAS NOT COME OUT TO HELP WITH ME OR ANYTHING ELSE (some girl and some guy, who nkows there names, because thats right, they havent left the office) going to do to make this right? She goes, Oh, yeah the manager said to give you 5 bucks off. I said, really? 5 whole dollars off...thats what my time, my wifes time, my childrens time is worth to you? Not an apology, not a refund, or a coupon for next time. Seriously, keep the 5.00 dollars. So, here is my point, your customer service, is garbage. Your managers, have NO idea what customer service is, nor quite obviously do they even care. It is not about the money, it is about MAKING IT RIGHT. Acknowledging that we, as guests to your establishment MATTER ENOUGH to get off your butt, and at least make a genuine apology. You cannot give me back my time, you cannot fix the evening you ruined and wasted, but your management could have CARED that it happened. Im not going to make stupid threats about not coming back, or how it will affect your business. What I am going to do, is make sure, that everytime your business is mentioned, that this is the story I tell. Good luck to you, with things being run like that, you...
Read moreI do enjoy the pizza at Donato's. I typically have decent service and the food is usually consistently good. So I gave a 4 star for the food and the place is usually fairly clean. However, I am dissatisfied with the service. I tried to place an order over the phone, and it's now automated. So the first thing it says is you can get 2, 1 topping pizzas for 26.99. That's great because that's exactly what I planned on buying. I needed 1 with half cheese and half peperoni with light sauce. It says oh you can't do that. Okay let me talk to a worker please. It then transfers me to a real person, not at the actual store. He says the same thing, you can't do that, let me transfer you to the actual store. Lol I get transferred to the store and they hang up on me. All this hassle just to order food is quite ridiculous. I decide to drive to the store to place my order in person. I place my order, and I mention the deal that was offered on the phone. 26.99 for 2 large 1 topping pizzas. Nope they don't offer that deal. So because I couldn't get my order to work with the automated thing I now paid 31.99 for the same 2 pizzas. And instead of the food being ready now I have to wait 20 minutes at the store to get my food. So the cost savings they get from using automated services has cost the customer more time and money than it would have to just talk to the actual store you're...
Read moreThis was posted on Facebook by my friend. Just posted on the terrible service at Bellefontaine's Donato's tonight. At 7:30 didn't want to take our order. Said close at 8; then close at 9. Took my order for pizza and drinks, then complained to kitchen. Guy in kitchen said to tell me to call Domino's. I waited inside because I'd already paid. Kept hearing snide remarks from staff in kitchen. Guy told me closing d/t no staff. 6 were in the kitchen. Only saw one pick up order. At 9 my pizza was sitting in a box in the window. Went up and no one would come out. Finally, a young girl got sent to deal with me, at 9:15. She gave me my pizza then told me I had to leave. An older couple came in, were told they were closed, and left. Doors were unlocked, sign said open til 11 pm. Saw 4 staff members leave with subs, pizza, and drinks. I asked for franchise owner's name and number, but of course they ignored me. I certainly hope someone shows him this post. Horrible...
