Decided to try the newly remodeled Pizza Hut in Bellefontaine after receiving a GREAT online coupon. After CHOOSING OUR STORE, setting up accounts, building pizza online, and jumping through the hoops a pop-up said"This store is currently not accepting online orders please call to order". I honestly called to complain and ask if this was a temporary issue or if they never take online orders (as previously stated the online system confirms your location and store before starting the ordering process/account setup) . First person I spoke with had no idea but luckily the phone was handed off to a young lady who handled the situation PERFECTLY! (Aaron maybe?). She apologized, explained what she believed happened, offered her assistance, and told me she would accept any valid online only coupon I was planning on using. Within two minutes she had my order CORRECT (even with special instructions). Due to a parade in town they were very busy but carryout time was still a very acceptable 20 minutes. I arrived after 15 minutes, store was clean, customers were being greeted and handled as they came in. I watched my pizza go-to "ready" on the screen at what would be 17 mins and was out the door quick. EVERYTHING about our Super Supreme Pizza was PERFECT!! I know it's a rarity these days to be able to say that but it's true. It could easily be used in a advertisement it looked so great. It tasted even better. One down side of Super Supreme or multiple topping pan pizzas is they sometimes seem doughy or undercooked in the center due to all the topings. To remedy this we ask for "Well done BUT NOT BURNT". Read moreordered online for a 5:30 confirmed pickup. Husband arrive at 5:40 and had to wait another 25 minutes. Phones ringing off the hook ( and not answers for over 2 1/2 hours), short staff, filthy restaurant,people coming in and cancelling orders, a female employee just standing around chit chatting. This franchise owner needs corporate to look into this store and how it's run. This is a horrible representation of this company. Surely the health department will be visiting soon from the sound of all the aggravated people that were waiting with my husband. No discount or compensation offered. just a "soooorrrryyyyy: I've worked in commercial kitchens for decades and this place is the absolute worst example of how you run a successful business. But hey,if you wait on hold long enough someone in India will answer the phone just to tell you you need to call the store manager over the matter. HOW? NO ONE answers the phone!!
I'm looking forward to corporate calling me tomorrow. If I'm aggravated, this owner and store manager deserve the same treatment. THIS is why I cook 99% of the time. A break from the kitchen shouldn't turn into a nightmare experience. Peace...
Read moreDriving from Columbus to visit and needed help with showing up with food (last second decision). While Driving I called the local Pizza Hut and Michael answered the phone. Not knowing what to order or having a clue on what to get, Michael took the time to explain all the specials to me and helped me chose the right one for my situation. I got the order in while driving and stopped to get it on the way. Arrived at the store, it was very clean and organized. The smell of pizza was pleasant and I was greeted promptly. They were very professional and nice during checkout and even offered some plates and napkins to take with me. Arrived with the pizza and it was a huge hit! The pizza was hot and fresh and some of the best I have ever had from Pizza Hut. Everyone raved about the pizza and was fighting over the leftovers. The only issue I have is this location is too far for me to drive when I want pizza, but when I go up north, they will be my first call! Thank you Michael and team for a job well done!
