Tried to use the drive thru but was told she only was taking mobile orders, so I drove around, parked, downloaded the stupid app, placed my 6 sandwiches & frozen hot chocolate. Paid via the app, so it would be quicker, and got back in line, only to get to the window 5 minutes later, to be told that she didn’t have hot chocolate mix. So I asked to replace it, and she could give me a fountain drink.(I don’t drink soda/pop) So I asked how long the sandwiches would be and she said, “Oh our sandwich machine is down.” So then, being as polite as I could, asked for a full refund, since I paid already for this meal. I was told she was new (ok, cool) but that her training manager had left for a family emergency and she didn’t know how to reverse a transaction yet. I was told that I could come back tomorrow and the manager could refund my purchase, or since I’m visiting from CALIFORNIA, I could call after 12:00 today to SEE if the manager was back. She couldn’t take my information and just ask her manager to do it, it’s up to me to get my money back from DD because I wasn’t told at the drive thru that they were out of things. After trying to call for the past few hours, my mother will have to go back to the store and ask for my money back. So sad too, my husband is a veteran and said that corporate DD took care of him on his 12 tours in Iraq. We won’t be going back to this location. (Especially when the lady behind the counter looked like she just snorted a line, maybe she just needs a tissue, but that white stuff didn’t look...
Read moreService is very slow. I would expect to wait at a corner bakery or family donut shop but a nation brand donut shop I should not be waiting over 20 minutes for my order. Particularly, when it is just donuts (which are made ahead of time and just need to be selected off the shelf) and black coffee. To be clear I don't make costume off the wall orders as an example I typically just say give me a number 2 please. I don't know if workers are on their phone, talking but not working, or lack of training (but how much training do you really need to grab some donuts and pour coffee). Further more Since they have opened they have messed up my order VEREY SINGLE TIME (this actually is not an exaggeration sadly). The most common way they mess up my order is simply not giving me my full order. Seriously do they not double check the receipt/order ticket?! Ways to fix this start with the managers they need to be hustling and moving faster and making few mistakes than any of the other works (other wise known as LEADING BY EXAMPLE). Each person should specialize in doing one part of the order by they also need the ability to complete the whole order on their own. Finally, have a single point person who's sole job is to make sure the entire order is present before handing it to the costumer and saying have a nice day. Overall I do not think I will do any more business with this store. Store owner and managers you have...
Read moreNever a good experience coming here but the food and coffee is good and that keeps us coming back. Customer service is terrible, staff is unorganized and unprofessional. The very few decent works that I have encountered since they opened never last long, I assume because they get sick of doing everything for their useless coworkers. In that event I watched a teenage girl running the register have the common sense to stop taking new orders and bag a to go order that was complete when the manager walked right past it 3 times. I even reached out to corporate with my complaints and their response was “There has been several complaints for this facility and we are trying to offer incentives for good employees if you have any ideas how to correct these problems please let us know” I’m sorry what? I tell you that your managers and staff are terrible and you are losing potential customers and you tell me you already know and want me to suggest how to fix it? Isn’t that literally upper managements job to fix that? I wish they had some competition with a Starbucks, Caribou Coffee, or Biggby Coffee in town. I think if any of them came to town Dunkin would lose so much business they would be forced to make the necessary changes or close. We have started paying the higher prices to go to Sweet Aromas up town whenever we can, especially if we don’t have a half hour to waste getting coffee at the drive...
