We came here for the vegetarian options, and we weren't disappointed! They had vegan substitutes for chicken, beef, and pork available, plus an entire vegetarian menu with items that can be made vegan on request. We ordered the vegan carne asada burrito with rice and the vegan pollo con nopales tacos. Both dishes were exceptional, with great flavor and texture. We also had coffee with our meal, and for diner style coffee, it was delicious. The service was great, our waitress was lovely and attentive. The restaurant is unassuming and comfortable. You can tell this place is popular - we left at about 11 a.m. and there was a big line of people waiting to be seated for lunch, so if you get there during peak hours, you might want to prepare to wait.

The bread pudding was great. For dinner, I had the albondigas de camaron. Very tasty! Iv had the Milanesa dinner. Vgood. I would like to plates for spicey vegetables. And drink refills. There is a large selection of vegetarian meals. Nov 2019 I had the Wednesday special- albondigas (meatballsoup). Fantastic! The best meatballs iv eaten. It's a bit spicey, not for the meek.

I'll never go here again..bistec ha la Mexicana I've never seen before & taste was horrible. When I spoke with the manager he said I should've told him sooner even though the plate had most of the meal on it when I complained! I told him I was going to give a review he said he didn't care. Not a great way to run a business

Today 6/23/2023 had to ask these people if they were the same owners! A take out we picked up a few months ago came with disgusting rotten avocados! Excuse was they couldn't find a good supplier but they gave them to us anyway! Hey Walmart has good avocados. Today was so disappointing, we've been going to Indio since it opened after Arby's closed. Food always so good and atmosphere happy, never a (BUT) about how you wanted your order. Now people running it different, not really nice and young waitresses ignorant. If you want to suffer a stroke from high blood pressure salty foods, this is the place for you. I could hardly swallow my favorite dishes! The green sauce they put over Indio Special was super salty and too spicy! My burrito meat a block of salt. When I told the older lady (that seems to be the big cheese in charge now a days, not very nice by the way), she said that it was the end of the day and the meat we got came from the bottom of a container that is prepared at advance. Not sorry, but saying Eat Salt! What kind of excuse was this! We paid for the food tipped the dumb waitress as custom. Took it home through in garbage where it belonged and never to return again. Spreading the word to family, neighbors, and friends. Indio get it together your not the same. We gave it a second chance after the rotton avacado bit. Poor service, poor business, just SAD! Restaurant doesnt seem happy anymore. No flowers no music dirty windows and...

Went to the resturant to eat.upon arrival i noticed they were kinda busy so i decided to get food from drive thru, the lady on intercom was not fluent in english at all.took me 5min to explain i wanted a burrito no beans and no sour cream and make sure cheese is melted inside.!!so i finaly accomplished that hurdle now time to pay,she told me the total in spanish and then snatched the money from my hand.i didnt get mad cuz maybe shes under alot of stress, now food came and i drove off after 3min of ordering whicg i thot was fast.but i didnt want it to be that fast so what ever i moved on now i get to work and time to eat i opened the bag to find no napkins or hot sauce except a red sauce half cup.and i ask her for green in spanish and she noted he rhead like she understood.i was mad 🔥now i took abite into the burrito and it was cold and had sour cream and meat had alot of fat and barely any carne at all.so i decided to call and complain ,they answered and hung up on me 2 times.so my recommendation is DONT EAT HERE TILL THEY LEARN HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS eVEN IF THEY CAME THRU THE DRIVE THRU..AND TAKE AN ORDER THE RIGHT WAY.I HAVE AANOTHER STORY OF A FRIEND THAT DIDNT EAT PORK AND WAS GIVEN A PORK TORTA THAT HE HAD TO THROW...

Let me start off by saying I have gone there many times before. And order my usual, either torta de jamón or my recent order gordita de chicharrón con agua de fresa no ice. My husband and I went there yesterday, I ordered my gordita de chicharrón with rice on the side and agua de fresa no ice while my husband ordered his torta de milanesa with horchata. They took about 45 min to serve us our order and on top of that, my gordita was cold and they BLENDED ice on my agua de fresa. My husband called in for the waitress and she wasn’t all that nice, she seemed indifferent when we told her my gordita was cold. She took it and put it in the microwave, and brings it back all mushy. Was not appetizing at all. Very disappointing. Will think twice about coming back, and my mom loves this place. I’m sure she will also think twice. we went around 5-6 pm don’t know which...
