I'm not big on dental offices at all after a bad experience. Going into Avila dental I was nervous as can be and I'm sure it was written all over my face because the front desk reassured me I was in good hands with Dr. Calvo. I still in my head didn't necessarily trust it but I left the office feeling much better about seeing a dentist again. Dr. Calvo truly was kind and went thru every step with me of my cleaning and over my future procedures answering all my hundred and one questions. I can say with confidence that feeling of comfort was something I didn't have before in any dental office so it makes me happy to know finally I found a dental office that I can go to and be in great hands. My son needs a lot of dental work that other dentists won't touch. We were referred to Avila from our local dentist. We have been to numerous dentist offices trying to find the right fit that can do it all. The entire staff is amazing. My son has never felt comfortable with explanations until now. They take their time and make sure the procedure is understood from start to finish. They are flexible with scheduling and accept many types of insurance. They are great with new patients and communication regarding what comes next. It is a pretty far drive for us but I'll take the drive for my son to get this care they provide.
