I am so disappointed I could cry real tears. I was really trying to figure out what I was going to eat today and then I decided then I decided that I wanted to do a burrito and I did research and found this place based on the reviews, I decided to give it a try. I specifically ordered a steak burrito no tomatoes, everything else and add rice and beans on the inside he told me a price for Kash and the price for credit when I got there I pay with my credit card. I asked for a couple of ice. He told me it’ll be an additional dollar so I told him never mind I get to my car. I’ll look in a bag. I see that I have a green and red sauce I proceeded to pull off and then I’m like you know what I’m so hungry. I’m so excited. Let me try this out. It tasted really good initially, but I noticed I can have rice or beans so then I went back on the inside and I told them that I told the young man who took my order that I didn’t have rice or beans and he said yes you do I said no I don’t. He was like yes you do so I opened up the burrito to show him. There’s no rice or beans in there. He said oh, and then he went in the back and start speaking in Spanish And then I’m like so how long is it gonna take? He said two minutes so I waited then I got my burrito. I was like can I have a couple of ice complementary for the inconvenience because I pulled out the parking lot he had to come back he said oh OK so damn I get my burrito. I do the exact same thing I look in the bag I noticed that my red sauce was removed and now I have three green sauces. I didn’t ask for three green sauces Then when I finally decided to open the burrito and bite it into it, the taste was different and one thing I hate is to have people remake my food that’s a no no I hate that so then I opened it up still they have rice this time but no beans still no beans so I caused there and I told him I said there’s no beans. Yes it is. He said that he makes the beans the meat and the rice together and I said there are no beans he said yes there is I said OK no problem but it is a problem. There’s no customer service no accountability and cannot follow. Basic directions. I pay extra to have rice and beans inside my burrito. I was starving. This was something I specifically wanted and I’m really really pissed off Look at this picture and tell me where...
Read moreBoyfriend & I were welcomed when we first walked-in, but not sure if it’s because New Years Eve but only two gentlemen working & only one cooking only and the other ringing in orders, taking phone calls, serving tables, organizing. When we were ready to order, we wanted to order Platillo- Fajitas de res (was told they were out), then I asked for the Platillo- Chicharron en salsa verde o rojo (again, told they were out), asked for champurrado (once again, was told they were out), so I finally went with Platillo- Milanesa de res after being told three consecutive times they were out of something. We also ordered a side of rice, beans, 6 tacos de asada, a torta de asada, and two agua de Jamaica (which also forgot to mention they were out of Agua de horchata). The gentleman told us it would be approximately 15 minutes, however they seemed pretty busy for just two gentlemen working but again, it could be because of New Year’s Eve. We waited longer than 15 minutes and finally when we received our food, we were credited in cash because they had ran out of rice, we didn’t complain, just accepted as it is. When we got home, the red & green salsa were watered down. The refried beans were also watered down, at some point not edible anymore to us, and the meat in our food tasted more crunchy and dry than any flavor at all. We ate it, but just because we were already home and again since it’s a holiday, no point in us going back out. For this restaurant having a 4+ star rating, assuming we went at a wrong day and time. We wouldn’t be trying this place again,...
Read moreRinconsito de Arandasis truly a hidden gem in Chicago. Rinconcito de Arandas is an authentic Mexican restaurant that serves up some of the most delicious food I've ever had. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
But let's talk about the food. The dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients and are bursting with flavor. The tacos are a must-try, and the guacamole is some of the best I've ever tasted. The menu offers a wide variety of options (breakfast, lunch or dinner), so whether you're in the mood for Tacos, tortas, menudo, enchiladas, burritos, quesabirria or vegetarian dishes, you'll find something to satisfy your cravings.
One thing that sets Rinconcito de Arandas apart from other restaurants is that it's BYOB. This means you can bring your own liquor and enjoy your favorite drinks with your meal. It's a great way to save some money and enjoy a fun night out with friends or family.
Overall, I highly recommend Rinconcito de Arandas to anyone looking for amazing Mexican food and a great dining experience. The food is fresh, flavorful, and authentic, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Don't hesitate to try this amazing place - you won't be...
