Review for Fred & Jacks
I’ve been a loyal customer of Fred & Jacks for 20 years, but my recent experience was beyond disappointing. I placed an order online, intending to simply pick it up, but it turned into an incredibly frustrating ordeal. When I arrived, I politely informed the African American lady at the window that I was just there to collect my food, and she asked me to wait.
While I waited, I witnessed her yelling at three different customers over their orders. One woman never received her milkshake, another man was missing cheese, and a third customer who had lost his ticket was banging on the window. Instead of helping him, she yelled at him to stop banging on her window. After waiting for ten minutes, I asked again about my order, only to have her yell at me as well.
I couldn’t believe the way she was treating everyone, so I told her off because no customer deserves to be spoken to like that, especially after paying for their food. I eventually asked the gentleman taking orders about my food, but I left with a sour taste in my mouth from the whole experience.
For reference, the employee in question was wearing all purple, including an ombré purple shirt. She needs to be fired because yelling at customers is completely unacceptable behavior. Fred & Jacks has always been a place I loved, but this kind of treatment makes me think twice...
Read moreThis is a HOOD spot, everything that comes with that connotation applies here!
Meaning: you got the typical bad attitude, rude AF, rushed hood chick taking orders like she hates seeing customers come in to bother her. Cooks in the back that dgaf about making your food on time, or how you want it. Then to cap it off, you’ve got mediocre food quality that fluctuates from decent, good, to terrible, the more you visit.
If it ain’t on the menu, exactly as it says, they won’t make adjustments to accommodate you (you could be Jesus Christ, they still DGAF). Even if it’s something as simple as use the chicken they put in a regular burrito & place it into a breakfast burrito; instead of the usual steak/beef/bacon.
To their defense, if you don’t like the environment or place of business, just don’t go there (period). For all this money spent and being unhappy, go somewhere else, or eat at home. So in all fairness, you get what you expect. Cheap eats = Cheap Service &...
Read moreAfter coming here for over 20+ years, I can say they are falling off. The food isn't made with love or any thoughtfulness. Every item I've tried recently has something weird going on. -Italian Beef...flaverful but the meat is thick and tough. -Wings...either is cooked in old grease and/or cold grease, they are never crispy. -Tortas...just take it off the menu, it tasted like mystery meat. So much sauce I couldn't taste any of the ingredients. I threw it away. -Gyros...the sauce is so thick, I'm wondering if they add something to stretch it. -Nacho Libre...the only thing I'm willing to still get, has potatoes in it. That's right, potatoes. Like, get real. I'm making my own Nachos today. -Fries...are still good. -Malts...still good. They can do better but don't care. Ppl have been complaining about the Italian beef for years and it's...
